I don't mind there being strong female characters in games. In fact I welcome them! But what I can't stand, is people who defend hypocritical cunts like Leigh Alexander, who claim GamerGate is about being allowed to be sexist, etc. The true issue is how the media warps the truth, bends over backward to believe even totally psycho bitches like Zoe and lacks any type of "feel" with its own audience.

I have nothing against games with strong female roles, I *welcome* them, but yes.. I'm against people that act like there aren't any just so they can push their own agenda. Of course she didn't ask that (well, perhaps.. who knows? RDR is considered a MASTERPIECE by pretty much everyone... but it has "prostitutes" and "damsels" thus it's something he obviously wouldn't allow his daughter to play. YAY! Let's screen everyone's games unless it conforms! >_>) but I'm really getting sick of the whole "no strong roles" bullshit.

That's pretty much my view on it as well. People should write strong roles for female characters because they want to, not because they're forced to. |

Then an anology:
Women presented in a specific way in certain games won't make people draw conclusions about real women IRL.
