I bid for a digital camera 8mp. It was cheap. From some German mass seller. I won. After reading about the camera I found out it wasn't really 8mp at all but 4. So I sent a letter detailing his mis described item and they agreed with me. Then I started getting letters from a German solicitor. I basically said screw you take me to court and I'll counter sue you. Never heard anything since. I sent a letter the other day which basically outlines that any letter I get in future will be sent to my solicitor and a processing fee of £12 will be charged.

Shouldnt they ban his account then? If he's selling fake items? u should try to get his ass banned....seriously.

I'm sure this is true is some respect...take ebay as an example if the seller has %100 selling record with like 600 positive replys, you can safely say that he/she can be trusted. Plus I only shop online at trusted sites...I've had no prob so far...knock on wood Smile

Someone stole a copy of my parents credit card receipt from a hotel cash register or wherever they keep the recepits (employee?) -- they racked up a shitload of charges.

I trust the internet more than the real world. Razz A hacker at least has to use skill to steal numbers, while any idiot can steal a piece of paper with your info on it.

Both u guys make good points, seriously Smile...I just dont trust it, and i dont think i ever will

unless, say its forced, like u cant go to the bank to do banking manually or everything ends up being an online store and they do away with regular stores...then I guess I'll have to, but until then, nope. Smile

And plus, u cant get deals buying shit online...like say u go to a certain game shop and get to know the manager cuz u pre order ur shit there and spend nuff money etc, u get hook ups like crazy

Or say ur buying from an auction site or something, same thing as the flee market or a private store...and most things in privately owned stores are negotiable, so ive learned. I always bargin. Cant do that online.

Ya but certain items are hard to find in stores...like modd chips Shocked ...hard to find movies...or in my case a certain type of camera thats not being produced and very hard to find, except online.

So buying online is a must for me.

PLus preordering my xbox360 Very Happy

The five purchases weren't off him. Just off other sellers.

Yep, but i try NEVER to use it...unless im going out somewhere where im gunna need a decent amount of money, like a fancy date perhaps, its easier...and whatever i owe on the card i pay off at the end of the month...credit cards are a rip, interests rate and service charges etc...I'd rather use cash Smile

The only reason I got a gamecube was for certain games like RE4 and Zelda games, so it acually might be a waist of time to get into modding the GC. Its to bad Nintendo just doesn't have the games I would play!

Or try a link at http://www.teamxecuter.com/ on the left hand side.

I have to admit to never chipping a Game Cube though. Can't be too hard, the Xbox was easy.
However if you've never soldered before practice on an old circuit board. Remember to use flux.

I wouldn't get too excited about the xbox 360. The protection is going to be a problem indeed. I doubt we'll see a modchip in the first year of the 360.

Ya I know but they sucked me in on this one...plus I want to get my hands on Perfect Dark Zero plus I never played xbox live before.

I also love the idea of streaming music Pictures movies from PC.

I probley won't buy alot of games...mostly for PD0...abit of nostalgia from the goldeneye/perfectdark era

And hopefully it won't take that long to crack Shocked Smile

Acually thinking about it mabey modding the gamecube isn't such a bad idea...I love tinkering with that kind of stuff

I'm trying to resist this one myself, but havng PC/PS2 and Xbox is enough to cope with,
and apparently the cube is by far the easiest to mod/solder.. just 4 wires.

Maybe if a few new big releases come out before christmas I may give in Very Happy

I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????
