The GRB is the best energy weapon in the game. It has a low threshold, so you do massive damage right off the bat with it.

As far as accuracy goes, you take a -40% to hit penalty when using Headshot, and at the end of the game you pretty much want to be using Headshot as much as possible with weapons with low crit chance/damage.

Yeah, I kinda goofed a bit there.. forgot about the insta-40% hit from headshot attacks. Still, that looks like a fantastic weapon! Something to look forward to, methinks Very Happy

Just as long as you don't expect to find it laying around or for sale. Takes a bit to get hold of it.

What is your secondary gun? A shotgun with 200 ammo magzine?

Ah, seems your question refreshed my memory - if i am not mistaken the energy gun was chosen for reward in Citadel...seems so...right before to fly off...

And the secondary is reward from museum hander - it's sniper rifle with ability to make target blind with 100%. There are other weapons in game with unique abilities but poor damage.

The other one op weapon is sniper rifle "Dragoon" which i ve got near entrence to New Citadel - awesome thing!

@daimos84
Ah okay.

Well so far i had no use for those low damage weapons with special status effects. Maybe on the highest difficulty.
Playing on the second difficulty and so far i had no fight which would give me trouble. For the oh-shit moments i have every character carry at least one law/rocket launcher Very Happy

Yeah the status effects are a nice idea, but ultimately pretty useless in practice. With a good team, you'll take down enemies fast enough that you don't need to worry about status effects.

Scrap is in-game currency, isn't it?

Talk to the requisitions officer inside Ranger Citadel. He's interested in acquiring scrap.

The BB gun is a unique weapon (uses sniper rifle skill I think) with unique ammo. It's basically useless, as it's a call-back to Wasteland 1.

^^ If you speak about mercaptain she is not interested Smile as there is no option of giving that metal to her. Perhaps you mean different person in citadel ?

Sergeant Melson is who you want. He should have mentioned he was looking for scrap in his initial dialogue. Perhaps if you don't follow it up then you lose the opportunity. You should still be able to sell it to most other vendors (at a lower price). The chick outside buys scrap.

In regards to Baychowski:

The req officer wants broken weapon parts. I have some of that mysterious "scrap metal" in my inventory as well and he has no real interest in it. It seems to be separate from broken weapon parts or the currency and weighs 0.5 a piece. I keep carrying it since it seems kinda rare, but have not found any use for it.

Ah, I see, my mistake - I thought you were talking about the broken weapon parts. That looks like it is a bug then, as actual scrap is indeed the currency, and not supposed to physically appear in your inventory as far as I know. You can loot it from enemies (which is where I assume the bug comes from, as it is physically represented in their inventories), but it should only ever add to your cash total.

Just ditch them by dragging them outside the inventory screen to drop. Unless they are undroppable, in which case you'll have to edit the save file and change the isOriginalProperty tag to false.

There are no gamebreaking bugs, only questbreaking ones. So worst case scenario you wont be able to complete 2 out of 20 quets or whatever. Big fucking deal

It is a "big fucking deal" when quests break and you can't finish them. Maybe not to you, but it is to others.
