It's okay though, they later get behavioural inhibitors making it impossible for them harm, or by omission of action allow to be harmed, another human being.

Can see you love the alien trilogy. Can't blame you those movies are cinematic masterpieces.

Oh just yarr that. That spreading of DLC content is ridiculous enough.
Yeah, i'm gonna youtube crew exp, not spending 4 euro for 1 dlc
Just saw the Alien movie last night, and it is incredible how much detail from the movies they put into the game, both visual and sounds, absolute stunning!

i love the books more, mostly because you can get more info/background from them. but there is a reaaaaaaalllly tiny diference between books/movies on my scale.
Yeah, Alan Dean Foster's novelisations were incredible - and the depth he goes to is pretty amazing. "Professional Dreamers" indeed I'm also a huge fan of the EU content by Steve Perry, such as the Spears series with Earth Hive and Female War.
That's because some people are attracted only to not living things and they (the company) have to assure that everybody have at least one sexual partner on board.
Ok, gave this one a go and started with the Crew DLC as Sabin recommended earlier.
I think I can't handle such terror in this age of mine. Kids also need their dad. This was really a torture. Fortunately I played without the headphones on!

Yeah, I tried playing this at night yesterday but after the first 1+-15 minutes I just shut it off. I didn't see a single alien or enemy but I still couldn't take it so I just shut it off, going to play this in full daylight without headphones on. -.-
Just met the alien for the first time yesterday. shut off the computer. now I'm going in again.
see you on the other side...
Right
These are GAMES, they are not real
Wish I could disconnect myself from the game like that, too bad I get an immense sense of dread and I severely dislike being chased by things in games, so this game has like a cocktail of the worst things ever.
Too bad though because the game has excellent design and I wish I could force myself to play through it just to see all the cool environments.
Usually I click with games but some things have pissed me of in this. Nothing stupid like the alien killing me or legit stuff.
Things like getting stuck behind a chair twice and being unable to move. Trying to get out (mashing buttons etc) made the alien come running, was not fun.
Another was when that room explodes you have to just walk forward and grab a ladder, I totally missed it 2 times and slowly died cause my first instinct was to explore the room.
My sense of direction and picking up hints from the game is all fucked up. Some areas took me wayyy too long. Bah. Maybe I just need some sleep.
edit; I did have one REALLY cool moment though. I was going down a corridor and thought I was safe since I saw the alien go in the vents just before. Nope he was right there and made that noise which makes you turn and run even though you know your dead. I made it around the corner and saw the last human alive in the area (his friends got owned earlier). Holy shit it happened so fast, the alien just wizzes around the corner and jumps on the guy in 1 swift movement. I'm literally 2 meters away ducked behind some cart. I fight the urge to watch the show and just waddle into the closest room and pray underneath a table. The alien stayed in the room for AGES (at least 2 minutes) and eventually peaked under the table right at me but somehow didn't see me. I think it was a bug but it was intense as fuck lol.
