I just bought this, and my right analog stick is not working on my PS2 controller, and also start button is on select button, any idea?

MotionJoy Driver + Better DS3 is the best solution for all games.
No more x360 to copy files in every game folder and have problems with lots of games. Different files for x64 and x86 etc..

just throw away that old pad and use a 360 one. ea always fucked up controls for other controllers (except a few logitech ones i think)

Seeing everyone is bashing the game over at the EA forums i just wanted to know if people here really think its that bad. I think the game is great even though it has it flaws. My feeling is that many people are complaining because defending is much harder than in fifa 14 and there isnt a easy way to just press a button and the defenders follow and press the man with the ball until they have it. It also seems people are complaining about not being able to score on almost every cross that comes into the box not matter what defender your small attacker is up against (which was the case in fifa14). It looks like people wants an easy way to score 4-5 goals in every game and that defending should fix itself with a simple button push. And then they still want the game to be realistic, that will be impossible.

Well, my thoughts about this is, I think they made a HUGE improvement in 365 days (in their case, most companies do good, but now EA catched up a little in a year). The new engine is much better compared to FIFA 14.
At the defending side, true. Defending needs some finetuning. Sometimes when u pick anther player and the opponent is passing to fast, you can't be faster at all. If you're attacker and u player very fast, you can be sure, u get most chances.
When u play for example with Messi, and you cut right before an opponent is walking into you, repeat for every player, turn around a bit to mess with them, you just keep turning around, it creates much space for you to run towards goal. You can easily score that way and defending against it is useless, as tackling looks like you do 10 meters behind when u actually push the button.
Further, I just need to get good at defending, because every end of the game SUCKS as we both pushing and one wins it and scores the late goal. 
Or do the shitty longpass on the ground as EVERY SINGLE FREAKIN PERSON does on FIFA 15. Its one of the things... like a couple years ago it was the lob over keeper. They just DIDNT FIX it until next game. The fast long passes right through the middle probably won't be getting much harder until next game, Thanks EA.

What's ridiculous is I can score most of the time from just past the centre circle - the keepers just can't seem to anticipate the ball flight - and players are WAY too accurate from long distance (high level players that is - my pro can bend the ball like an aborigine...)

I like it more too, but still has some major annoying things in it, to screw up matches score. Anyway, you guys also have it is raining every FIRST MATCH you play?
Every first match I play Seasons, its raining.. (every first time i boot up fifa).. why!

is there any other downsampling possibiltiy for dx11 games? my screen cant handle 4k via the control panel, only works with 2880x1620. otherwise it blacks out

With a 780ti my display only supported 3840x2160 @ 40hz, with a GTX 970/980 I can play @ 60hz.

Mmm no, definitely a limitation of the 780ti or a feature of the 900 series? I really dont know. I use the same cable (displayport). With the 780ti I get the monitor to work at 40hz, with the 970 at 60hz.

according to their pressrelease Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR) only works on 9xx cards, thats right. dont know if its a different implementation in the drivers for the 7xxer cards (got a 770). 4k resolution with 60hz shouldnt be a problem even on a lot older cards (as long as displayport 1.3 or dual link dvi is used). maybe i should try the other dvi port of my card, gonna check that tomorrow.

Strange. With 970, I'm not able to create 3840 X 2160 resolution. However, 4096 x 2304 works.
(DSR 4K works too, but looks washed out for me)
