I have een AMD 2400+ system with 1 gb memory and a MSI K7T motherboard with a msi nx6800 videocard.
A while back pc alert gave an error on the 3.3V "window": instead af the normal 3.5-3.9 it red 4.08 !
After a while however, the problem suddenly disappeared.
Now, it's back and won't go away ! The system also has crashed a few times.
Does anyone knows what the problem could be: motherboard or memory or powersupply ? Or perhaps, something else ?

Motherboard or Powersupply.
I would get a new PSU (dont buy one, borrow from a friend or get one cheap) and check the voltages, if its still high take the mobo back to where you bought it and ask for another, as this is 80-90% likely to be the problem.

You only used a 300w supply?!?! You need to be using a 400 at LEAST, 6800 needs that power!
