Sad really, willing to bet the handling won't be that much different... even though the sport has gone trough significant changes.

Well... we'll see what their full price update (F1 2015) brings in a few months, bet it's going to cause finally some outrage when they figure out this was just 2013 and they been working on 2015 instead.

Fuck... even the playstation days were more immersive and fun.

A few tweaks year after year and they continuously charge full price for it.

These lazy bastards have no shame.

Meanwhile, Assetto Corsa has just went into v1.0 and got a bunch of new (FREE!) cars, including friggin' LaFerrari, and three tracks - Spa being one of them...

If the handling, sounds, new track (Russia), engines and rules have been updated in accordance with the 2014 changes, then actually it would be a worthy update - afterall, the actual sport itself is going to be the same, and there are only so many things you can 'update' with a game like this.

However, we all know it'll be as crap as last time around Sad

(basically if the cars handle like they're on ice, then it's pretty accurate.)

And...

Yup it gets worse every year. A lot of things stripped, the things that were there not even improved upon. The A.I. is still garbage... there is a lot of witchcraft happening the moment they are out of your view.
Tyre degradation seems to have no correlation to how you drive, seems more like calculated on the laps you do than anything else.

Drove with and without assists... driving assists are yet again made worse. The cars themselves don't really feel different compared to last year, they do sound different but none of that feeling of driftier more torque that is this years F1. When the car snaps it still feels like last edition where you could easily counter it.

A.I. is glued on a raceline, hardly see them make tiny mistakes or driving differently. It's all copy paste. Doesn't reflect the drive style of the individuals at all.

Someone else should get the license...
Don't buy this, they did minimal effort... most effort went to stripping things from the game it seems.

Well nope... I'm done with the game already.

Stupid AI, just like they are on rails. Last lap I'm putting my fuel mix on 2, it's on the straight and car behind me was 1.2 seconds behind. All of a sudden he's in my rear pushing me off track... great! Making my 10th place into a shitty 15th (still good enough for Marussia tho! Mad )

But wait... because I turned of fuel consumption me using a rich mixture for 2 laps (while the one behind me has been using it for more than 5 laps if you believe the radio) from the last 2 turns my engine is stalling... because low fuel... So same fuel consumption as last years edition... if you watched F1 this year there was almost no problem with fuel consumption.

Other race... track is wet yet everyone is still on rails like they are driving a dry race. Was running 8th had no problem maintaining the race until the 6th lap... AI seems to get a boost and that 3 second gap is turned into someone ramming me in the back on 1 straight... not even DRS can close a 3 second gap. From then on I keep on getting rammed by dumb AI. Driving around like I'm on tires that gone over the cliff and they like they have brand new ones eventho they haven't pitted.

FUCK THIS HORRIBLE SHITE! Nothing on track has any relation to the AI or your car... So nope not even on that they have improved... They sure had time enough with this crap reskin.

DO NOT GIVE THESE ASSHATS ANY MONEY! NO NOT EVEN AT 75% DISCOUNT!

/rant

What a disgrace, seriously. They're the Activision of the driving games industry. I'm not even going to bother with those 2GB this year, what's the point.

I did, however, update the pic!

I believe they have found a better compression system:
