Seems like the patches have helped a lot in my case, no more annoying stuttering during transitions even with them high textures enabled. Leftos is doing a mighty fine job

Well the whole dir for me is 5.88Gb.. The thing is, the actual saves for me are 6.3mb.. The rest (dir called /local) is, as I have understood it, 2kTV and rest of the online bs which gets synced gradually (seems to get larger).
I'm actually running out of SSD space because of it, pretty poor design decision.

Assuming that the 5gig save file is only if you create a player, eh?
I'm playing an entire season with the 96 bulls with no created player, and my save directory is less than 2 megs.

To celebrate this year’s 2014-2015 NBA season kickoff, 2K has announced that NBA 2K15 will be available "Free to Play" on Steam starting today at 10 AM PST / 1 PM EST through Monday, 11/3 at 10 AM PST/1 PM EST. The Free to Play weekend will showcase the full NBA 2K15 experience including MyPARK (and all three affiliations), while offering fans a chance to dive deeper into NBA basketball which tipped off earlier this week.

Patch coming soon. 3.39gb..
It's already submitted to MS and Sony. I guess by the end of the week it will be released on Steam.

I have to say Im getting really good games after this patch. Other than the presentation issues I had (crappy half time show and unrealistic post basket cuts) its the best sports game so far.

The gameplay post patch is phenomenal. Everything's so organic and lifelike it's really shocking and scary. This is not only the sports videogame of the year but imo it's also the GOTY.

If this requires online streaming from what i gather where does this other 5gb come into play at...Hmm i dig further 
.I get random fps drops from 60 to 2 fps then back to 60 again.After googling for 2 days someone suggested to disable my audio device and Bam! 60 stable all the way through but cant hear shit! 
.Game still needs patches after the 2 thats out.
