Pey uses +10 Teasing and a Silver Frustration spell, my nonexistent finances and great desire to play manage to hold up, but you can hear 'em shaking a bit!

Respecced to put more points into faith. Qamar chewed through The Worshiper and most of these mobs. And oh look he dropped another Faith Scaling weapon - this one with 10% scaling and a Special Heavy Attack.

Can any dark souls vet whos a decent ways into the game comment on the difficulty?
I heard that playing the thief guy is akin to choosing the hard difficulty. Any truth to this? I don't mind if it's easyish (compared to ds) but when the proper baddies from ign and the like say it's too easy it makes me worry.

Is there family share for this game? I wouldn't mind sharing with you guys.
@guvna, yes, thief is the toughest if you stick to knives and other tiny weaps. the game is very easy compared to souls games, especially if you take the blue healing spell path.

I have no idea to be honest. I think I'll wait though, need to clear my backlog and also play more golden oldies. But big thanks for the offer =) *sends manly hugs*

No, of course I haven't played it, there's no iso demo. But I watched a shitload of reviews and videos from well-known Dark Souls streamers and got a really good feel of what the game is about, and it definitely helped me understand what some humpers here meant by saying the game was "over the top" in the fantasy aspect. I also understood this is definitely not Dark Souls, not even close, so the great motivation that Dark Souls games offered despite being fantasy themed, isn't present in this game at all for me.
But for fantasy RPG lovers, which we have a legion here, this seems like a really great title compared to most of the stuff released every year (like the examples I mentioned in the previous posts).

Personally I liked the few videos that I've seen so far, Dark Soulish but not a cheap knockoff since the production values seem good enough to make it stand out and give it an actione-y feel, which is something that perhaps is missing nowadays.
One thing is for sure though, it's the best City Interactive game ever released *
*easiest achievement ever!

There's one thing that would've made me buy this game though, having plenty of puzzles a la Darksiders (more like the first game). The thing I loved the most about Darksiders besides the lore/story was the puzzles/platforming.

I get a steam pop up window that says launching lords of the fallen, disappears then nothing, no load screen appears . Checked windows logs but hasn't reported any lordsofthefallen.exe issue. This is on the purchased version. Checked through numerous forums but cant find anything related to this, I dont have any problems launching any other games. |
Update: If anyone does get this issue I resolved it by uninstalling steam, clearing any steam related folders and restored my games, LOTF is now working.

Seems like they are using pretty hard protection :-/ Same one as Fifa 15 (http://www.denuvo.com/#page-4 )
Wondering how long it will take scene to beat it - my guess its gonna take quite long time as they have problems with Cpuid CEG and this one is even harder (uses cpuid aswell as some other machine codes).
And judging by their partners its higly likely that GTA5 will use it aswell

Well, I can certainly understand why Assassin Awessssome-Buttttton Creed might appeal to you more than taptaptap RPG

@Neon
Ubisoft interviews?
@The_Leaf
I don't think this campaign would be even possible nowadays.. Back then it was a somewhat real nuisance having starforce protected games (now we have steam ) and gamers were different. It was harder for publishers and developers to pull off the shit they are doing now on a regular basis.. Besides, most likely "The DLC Generation" won't even bother.
@AKofC
No idea
Did you check steam forums? I think there are some gamers playing it on i7 and gtx860m. Just search for gtx860m.
