The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Played a litlle....can't understand the game...no, the main thing i understand, i understand mission, but can't understand how this game will substitute l4d... The gameplay seems so easy and chaotic in one moment that i can't understand what is intended to hold player in game. It can't be new hunters and customization only for 100%
So who's making Left 4 Dead 3 if these jokers are making this hunting arena mini-game?
But there is only one guy on their team who were in the devteam of L4D2.

I played 2 more hours and here is more of my thoughts on the subj:
- it won't "substitute" or "replace" L4D2 in its niche, Evolve is alreayd quite a different game from L4D2 concept. While the latter may be "simpler" it is also, surprisingly, more tactical, especially when you play as Infected. Evolve most relies on action and quick-thinking and skill on human' side and quick-action on Monster's side
- it indeed does feel chaotic at first but that's because there you are pretty much being dropped into the game without any particular information how things works and what they do. I had to look up on the official site what special abilities do because in-game help failed to explain it. Right now I've passed the stage of "wtf" to "how do I trucking evade monster to stay alive and keep my mobility arena in tact".

What holds players in L4D2? The gameplay. But in case with Evolve I think it will end up just like Titanfall.

This game is pretty cool I must say. I have a 9 year old who's loving it. If they continue to add more monsters, characters and maps, I could see maybe buying it.
