I ranked the games by hours played, the actual chronology is
MW2 - BO - MW3 - BO2 - Ghosts
Somehow the black ops series appealed the most to me.
Seriously looks tempting for some brains-off MP shooter because there not so many MP FPS options this fall. And the price is not that bad for the game which won't be on sale any time soon anyway.

Hmm. The last one I liked really was BO2. I didn't buy ME or Ghosts. I bought a couple of copies of titanfall for me and my son. We got some good fun out of it. Kinda derped down, but I love the movement system. After the vids, I've considered this game, but the requirements and lack of information make me think it could be like that Ghost again. Usually there is a lot more info out this close to release.

Wait, even if you can get a good price it's probably best to see how the game is first, especially for the MP mode if you're planning to get more than ~5 hours out of the game.

Yeah the movement system in titanfall was great. But look at current player stats, the game is almost dead on pc. They also took their sweet time adressing balance issues. At the time balance was restored the majority off the player base had moved on.
Hopefully this is NOT ghost 2.0. Lack of information doesn't boast courage though.

MW2: 142 hrs
BLOPS: 35 hrs
0 hrs on all others.
I had the fondest memories from CoD4. MW2 was lots of fun for a while and then I just got tired of it. Hoped that BLOPS would freshen things up a bit... and obviously it didn't for me.
Although mostly, I suppose, it had to do with the fact that CoD felt like complete junk after:
Bad Company 2: 279 hrs
BF3: 546 hrs
BF4: 440 hrs
At the time I thought I played Modern Warfare A LOT, but "even" BC2 alone has almost as much time on record as all CoDs I had played combined
