Getting this game to run is a bitch... Managed to start it with precaching of and textures on high. Fps about 120 but textures look kinda bad and it loads forever

Holy. Shit.

CoD never fails to entertain for all the wrong reasons.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

(Seems the game also reserves some 500 - 600 MB as a cache for something thus the in-game VRAM amount reported being lower than the GPU total.)

I have 4 gigs vram, it cuts to 3.400. Set absolutely everything to the max with 2x supersampling (r9 290). Just checking 1st location, hires textures load after 2-3 secs (glass fragments on the floor). Overall performance is really great, looks good also (nothing mind blowing, at least so far). Loading times are little bit long (I imagine it will be shitlong on consoles).

What I'm always happy about is that it fluidly alt-tabs to windows and back to the game Very Happy

The game actually loads maps almost instantly on ps360 but that's probably cuz they are in low details. I remember Ghosts to have long loading on PC too. Dunno about ps4one versions.

Yea, probably due to the lowres textures. On pc (not ssd) it loads quite slowly, at least that 1st level. If you die game reloads instantly.

That the specs needed do not justify how it looks in-game.

Luckily, I dont care about the required specs Laughing Laughing

As for level loading - in options there are 2 switches in shader section - preloading stuff which may cause longer level load but also may reduce some stuttering during the gameplay.

Didnt check it yet, got solid 80-100 fps most of the times. Feels so light and responsive in comparison to the bf4. Graphics are ok, nothing mind blowing. Definitely couldnt be compared to the any crisis game Very Happy

How about you get a bit of perspective on what mortibus was showing?
The game (CoD) looks like a 5 dollar hoe which charges like a luxury escort compared to BF3 which is a luxury escort that charges less than the 5 dollar hoe.

@Prefetian

Go play bf3 then. Or call for a hoe. If you have strong urge to start some flaming bullshit go find someone else that will show you "a bit of perspective".

I`m talking about how it looks/runs and you are bringing bf3 and sexvilla, mindblown.

Really? So I'm guessing you have the same view on AC:Unity as well? Or is that some kind of exception?
