Rolling fire enemies indeed cause crashes when they roll into you and explode. Not always, mind you, but they do. Very Happy
And dat large beast in the demonic dimension at the place with shiny flying objects (Yetka's quest) also might cause crashes when it dies\rolls.

I think I'll stop playing it and play Wolf Among Us instead until they release their next patch. Laughing

as criminal as this games glitches may be, the worse crime is that guys screechy high pitched voice whenever hes amazed at something... which seems to be constantly.

Disabling apex gpu support fixed crashing issue for me. Before that, it was crashing every 30-60 minutes.


The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

I disabled it right from the start and I didn't have a single crash until I faced these rolling fire enemies. They crash my game even with apex gpu disabled Wink

Now I'm gonna try to re-enable it like devs suggested lol.


PS Hmm.. funny.. it seems enabling apex gpu did help. I haven't experienced any crashes related to rolling enemies yet. FPS is shit though. Very Happy

PPS I needed to jump over a large fissure so when I was jumping over I got hit by a mage and I got pushed forward while still sort of jumping. Anyways, I lost control over my character coz he kept levitating in one direction pushed by this attack mid-air rofl

Reports are contradictory.Some say disabling apex gpu (= false) helps, others say it causes crashes.

In my case enabling apex gpu in setting.ini has helped with rolling enemies crashes and I had it disabled earlier just to get better FPS.
I also disabled vsync like devs suggested.

PS Fuck!!! Fuck! Fuck! The game crashed the moment I killed the Guardian.. Laughing


PS Dat fucking game crashed right when I almost killed the last Rhogar Lord (Annihilator) Rage ..ffs. I'm done for today.I'm gonna watch some tv episodes.Instead of messing with DRM protection they should have done a proper testing before releasing Lof Evil or Very Mad

I've just finished the game Laughing

The last boss was annoying until I inserted +fire resist runes into my armor although not as annoying as The Lost Brothers. Now this encounter is just..bah..don't even get me started

The game has some balance issues imho.. And I'm not talking about certain spells that are kinda OP.There is lots of strength based weapons to find throughout the whole game unlike faith weapons.And .for instance faith builds are forced to use extremely slow weapons.whereas there are enemies that punish players for being slow. I had to resort to using Daze quite often (slow-mo) and in some instances Punishment\Shelter.

I didn't like the story. It was stupid, it didn't make sense in the end and side quests were bad.Yetka's quest especially.It could have been so much more.

It's like this whole mess was written by a retarded 5 year old.

I don't mind a more straightforward approach to storytelling than Dark Souls has but not when the story kinda sucks.

Some bugs I encountered are ridiculously easy to notice.. I have no idea whether they even tested this game.For example explosive gauntlet with a rune that makes it spawn smaller bombs crashes the game every time(!) if you have apex gpu disabled. Oh, and it actually doesn't spawn smaller bombs at all.lol

Regardless of all I said I had a good time playing this game. I give it 7/10. If it didn't have bugs and performance issues, I'd rate it 7.5/10

Yeah that rune is the main thing, I tossed it but it does seem to have other uses.
(It is also lost when going to New Game+ although I don't know if you get to keep the one you inserted in your weapon/armor/magic gauntlet.)

Heh it actually worked for that pike, though it needed a certain rune quality for each. Smile
(Equip both and exit crafting and the crafter should comment on the new weapon and then it'll turn orange/special.)

(That other sword did not alter luck however but I did return it to boost magic damage, same with the hammer in the crypts which isn't mentioned in those posts.)
