It's definitely not as bad as Ghosts was. Actually some are talking that this might be the best one since MW1.

I had motion blur disabled from the start, but I can confirm that disabling cache options fixed the low-res texture issue for me, when I tried it yesterday. Also improves loading times, obviously.

The only remaining technical issue that remains for me are the weird sounds. As someone here already mentioned - it sometimes feels like some channels are missing. Gunfire from the enemies is barely audible, for example.

Also my display driver crashed a couple of times Very Happy

If it weren't so handholding, the campaign would've been right there with BLOPS2 and COD4.

Anyone else getting crippling hitching/stuttering/freezing during loading-screen cinematics? The streaming option in the menu, the one that says "may cause hitching during cinematics" is *disabled*

So.. seriously.. dafuq?

It's fucking pissing me off. Even when the little shitty loading bar at the bottom-right vanishes, the sound stutters like crazy. Constant staccato sound Sad GPU is using <5%, 700MBish VRAM, the whole thing screams "prerendered FMV" yet it hitches and stutters and is generally quite disgusting.

This torrent sucks; why didn't anyone upload to a decent hosting website that doesn't cap speed and allows multiple simultaneous downloads. Crying or Very sad

@EyePatchLives Get private tracker torrent? IPT is quite easy to get.

or torrent with lot of seeds.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Turn off the two shadow cache options, those are the two that are causing the texture crappiness apparently.

Ok it now crashed during loading. The loading cinematic plays fine... then starts hitching and hard freeze.

Even on absolute lowest settings, once the loading bar vanishes the audio stuttering starts. Fuck it, waste of time and effort downloading this shit.

It's vsync Facepalm Enabling vsync of any kind, either via ingame option or from nVCPL, causes the game to stutter and hitch. The only fix is to disable vsync, which causes the screen to tear and the framerate to spike (nice toasty GPU, thanks for that!) or force 60fps cap via Afterburner... which at least fixes the overheating/too-high-framerate, but still has drawbacks with screen tearing.

*Vsync that destroys the audio and causes the game to hitch
*Shadow caching that destroys the visual quality

Great coding, guys, really. Thumbs up!

I don't remember :\ I know Ghosts, and BLOPS too if I'm not mistaken, had issues with the "Extra" setting on texture quality -- where "Extra", rather than "Native", was actually much lower quality. I don't know about vsync though.
