nice try being a smartass, the intention of this shit is evident, they never made an 'italian saga' either, so it's just some random milk bullshit as usual

It's not an Assassin's Creed game until like 90% through the story, when you actually become an Assassin. I don't know who the fuck gives you the contract assassination missions when you first arrive in Havana.
feel the same here, while ac1 might be overall worse than ac3, in regards to what it felt like on release day, ac3 was a bigger disappointment.
ac4 is king for me and the reason why i will never be able to play a new ac game after it (maybe rogue), and ac2 is the best of the standard (non-pirate) ac games.
i also preferred the story in 4, more about pirates and less about the stale assassins vs templars crap that feels like it was written by a 12 year old with a raging boner for conspiracies.
More ACII love. My favorite Assassin's Creed game along with Black Flag.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
AC4 is amazing game. Its the best pirate game I've ever played. I always dreamed for such game and I was just blown away when I started it. I don't know how it connects to the whole AC lore or anything, I am not AC fan, I tried the first when it came out for 360 - stopped playing after 1 hour, the same goes for AC2. But I was excited about AC4 since I've heard its going to be a pirate game and boy.. I did a 100% on that one. It gave me so much laughs and oh shit moments. When you are crossing swords on the top of enemy ship in the middle of hellish storm and hurricanes throwing your ships all over the place... Or when you board manowar for first time.. The naval fights are also great in my opinion. Tbh I can't find even one flaw in the game. It have everything that you always wanted in pirate game - boarding ships, naval combat, you have secret island with your mansion, you dig treasures, you capture forts, you execute people or enslave them as your crew, you go to the prison and get out, you fight in bar fights, oh and you have your own ship and you are the badass captain!, you sing sea shanties, you can get drunk, you engage in the worst stormy weather without any fear, basically you experience the pirate life. I don't see whats not to like. Yes, they could have made the treasures more "treasury" and worthy but besides that the game is awesome. On top of everything the main char is alpha male. These days you play as either gay or hobo or junkie. I am glad that at least FailSoft somehow are still making kickass chars.
It's all about the Padstow Farewell! And yeah man, this was a friggin' epic game and I honestly don't know what else I'd look for in a pirate game .. though perhaps more expansion options, since only having the one base - and a costly one at that - seemed a bit of a let down.
