People see game req that clearly say its unoptimised Ubicrap weeks before release and yet they buy it day one and whine about game running like shit on their expensive pcs. In my opiniom current state of gaming is pretty much their fault, keep giving those corporations your money without thinking and they will never learn

think ill have to play the earlier games in the series,this story makes no sense whatsoever!
edit: had a quick look on wiki and fouind out its about the knights templer some assassins and some aliens or sum shit like that,luckily I downloaded the heritage version of assassins creed for ps3 a while ago which is the first 5 main game titles in 1 pack.

Or you could have used smoke bombs, stun bombs, guns, phantom blades, poison gas, medicine to deal with them. But if using consumables are cheating, then use staggering strike which appears only the spear enemies can defend against that.
ATM I'm in sequence 12 or 13 and I just run in, let the guards ring the alarm and I take all of them on at once without any problem. Now I'm not boasting, because the game IS hard when you have to dodge guns, dodge brutes, parry the others while trying to do damage. But the consumables are so effective they make enemies trivial. Not to mention you can loot bodies to regain them, or even use the cache, money is rarely an issue. I feel like I really have to set up constrains for myself to see a real challenge from the game, and that haven't changed since AC1.

There's also stuttering everywhere, several awkward glitches, compenetrations, un-synched animations, etc.

My system is not exactly great (i2500k@4.3Ghz, 8GB RAM/ddr3 1600, overclocked GTX 570) but still, when High settings and Low produce the same results (1fps of difference, whereas Ultra is basically THE system killer, literally), then there's definitely something really wrong with the game. Even Black Flag and Downgraded Dogs suddenly look like they're well optimized if compared to Unity.
It's possibly the worst port ever for me. It clearly didn't go under any QA whatsoever, they couldn't be arsed. Definitely worse than Dead Rising 3, and not even the legendary GTA IV and Saints Row 2 went this far with the non-scalability.
I'm not questioning the quality of the game itself, since there's likely some good stuff behind all these layers of embarassment, but it's simply pathetic for such a big company to release a "finished" product in this state. I've played pre-alpha's that behaved better.

Was that supposed to be funny? the truth is PC gaming is in the same boat as console gamers, This game, this thread is proof of that. I seriously find it it so pathetic that today u can buy a next gen machine for $300 (less than the price of a gpu req to run this shitturd) and just play the damn thing, even if it is 30 fps or less than 1080p ...big fucking deal.
At least the smart ones aren't throwing thousands of dollars out of the window on soon to be outdated hardware that can't even run this ugly abomination of a game smoothly for shits and giggles.

Ah, I still remember the good old days when Assassin's Creed was supposed to be a trilogy...23 games, what an amazing trilogy indeed.
BTW I still personally think the first one is the best.

lol i'm sure it looks better at 900p with lesser than 30 fps and medium settings than 1080p with v.high settings at 45-60 fps
