So I decided to play on EU-Frostwolf and lvld until 91, but then my character got "stuck". game crashes everytime I try to move, lmao.
It's been 10 years and they still can't do smooth launches. Whatever, WoW EU launch in 2005 was worse tho. We couldn't play for 1-2 weeks on Destromath ^_^ ...
Loving me some 3000 queue in the middle of the night on Area 52-US.
This isn't quite as bad as being on Illidan for the launch in 2004, but it's still pretty sucktastic. Actually liked the little that I've gotten to play of it.

and people still try to play on the first day ... *zombie mode* M_U_S_T P_L_A_Y
Well, I gotta vent a bit... and it's not even about the game itself. It's about these fucking people that populate it nowadays.
As many of you, I played WoW on release. On a PvP server, later on one of the new RP-PvP servers that came out a couple of months later.
I loved my open world PvP. I enjoyed it to the fullest, lived it... the stupid battlegrounds took a bit of that away back then but it didn't kill it (yet!) and yet I participated nonetheless. Never gave up on skirmishing in the open though.
As everyone knows, open PvP was ded over the course of time. Stuff like Blizzard handing out 24h bans for server crashing Tarren's Mill vs Southshore zerging didn't help ofc...
Let's get to the fucking point shall we?
Here comes WoD with the promise of reviving open PvP. And to my surprise, factions are meeting each other very early on in the leveling progress. Sounds awesome! Right?
Yeah, it really did. First time entering Gorgrond and I get my fucking panties wet! Alliance players everywhere. Oh baby! Fucking finally! Almost cried.. so much joy awaits.
Here we go, that guy is red and red means dead! I attack and... this guy just stands there and takes it.
I turn around and look at countless players of my faction co-existing and questing alongside the enemy faction's players.
WHAT THE FLYING FUCK IS GOING ON HERE?!
I couldn't believe what I was seeing. No words... just a blank void shoved itself over my emotions much like a curtain at the end of some fucking theatric piece.
I spotted an Alliance player in the background. Giving some dude of my faction a good old treatment in the art of pain. Too far away and too late to do anything about it for me.
Then I realized that his prey didn't put up a fight either. After his deed was done, I shit you not, the Alliance Warrior stared at me from over there. We just stood there, facing each other for about 30 seconds (he even had me targeted and so did I), overlooking all these fucking hippies holding hands... it felt like an eternity... of sadness...
Seriously though... what the fuck happened? Who are these assholes? What are they doing on a PvP server? Is that "open pvp doesn't give epixxx and therefore sucks!" mindset burned so hard into their heads, beyond recovery? They rarely even help each other when attacked. They are just acting like nothing is happening while their fellow faction buddy get's mauled into the ground...
I really don't know if someone can relate but for me this is just pure sadness... beyond ridiculous. Unbelievable.
Ahh... spend a ton of time in a queue, get stuck staring at a 90% loading screen, do 3 quests, disconnected again, and staring at a 90% loading screen again for the last 15 minutes.
I just can't play this fucking game. Need to stay put for hours and hours, and fucking hours just to play. This is the absolute worst xpac release i've seen. Granted, the others had their problems, but never problems like 6k people in queue.

didn't play in vanilla and first expansion packs? i've seen 10k queues
So... Now i finally get into this fucking shit game, and the servers will go down in one hour. Hope the one responsible for keeping server costs down at minimun drives of a cliff. Wasting my time and money like this. They better compensate for this shit.
the funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

This is what the incoming maintenance is about, they're making a few changes including better hardware and a different phasing system for the new zones. They're hoping for a significant improvement, we'll see what happens.

Sounds good, hopefully the phasing part wont be to much, gets me to remember icecrown area quest phasing. That was so shitty imo.
