I too prefer NTSC because of the fullscreen (pal 60hz is the optimal pick though). I just thought it was dumb to call 0.5mm-1cm massive. Smile

I think they made re4 in widescreen to get a special feeling. And I personally think they succeeded.

well no the borders are only that small when its a good ntsc to pal conversion, like nowadays.
but back in the psx times and even the beginning of the ps2 era pal games only had a 50 Hz mode with black borders across 50% of the screen, these werent small these were big ass old fashioned pal conversions.
thats what i m saying, pal has a bad name cuz it used to suck so much, nowadays though u have pal60 and no more large borders so its all good.

why the hell is RE4 in widescreen :S

It was done to increase performance. The cube version is the same way, you dont even notice it after like 10 seconds.

Does anyone here own a device that allows you to transfer PS2 savegames to the PC? I'm desperately looking for a savegame for the PAL version of RE4 where Separate Ways is unlocked. It would be great if someone could send me one. Or send it to gamefaqs.com . That would make me and probably a lot of other people who already played the game on Gamecube very very happy. Smile

edit: Ok forget it - there's one available at gamefaqs now. Now I can finish it on Gamecube, play Assignment Ada on Gamecube and then play Separate Ways on PS2. That's f*cking great - the best of both worlds (best graphics and all content) ! Very Happy

The START2 version is multi-language like the burger version?
