Just tried the game out, no 21:9 support and lightning was completely fucked out. Need to try again tomorrow after work with patches. Ubisoft tho supported 21:9 monitors in the Ass Creed Unity :/

I just want to report whats working for me and the game seems perfectly fine.
I used the Gold Edition Multi2 Repack
Then used the update from the 1.03 RIN release but DID NOT use the farcry4.exe found in there. I left the original as is from the Multi2 Repack
Then I used the two files from the 3DM crack folder and overwrote the one it replaced.
Started the game with no problems, no dark shadows, no missing map, havent had to change any files names, etc.
I'm using a Radeon 7950 with driver 14.10.

If you're not using the 1.03 binaries from the updated files on RIN, you're not actually running 1.03 and you're likely to run into serious issues later in the game - especially in the Shangri-La missions, since your 1.00 binaries are trying to read patch data from 1.03. If you don't have prior saves, you REALLY should be using the full 1.03 update. It brings benefits, not drawbacks.

Some people are saying that disabling v-sync solves the micro-stuttering problem. Anyone tested it?

Oh yeah, and the black bars is another next-gen engine feature.

As long as you just apply the patch and binaries (ie; farcry4.exe/fc64.dll/etcetc) then yes, everything should be okay. Honestly, it's all a right fucking mess at the moment with fix this, fix that, v1 here, v5 there, all over the place. My ONLY suggestion is to simply go to RIN and ask what they recommend.

There has to be a way to get rid of those black bars ! FC3 didnt have it, ACU neither so WTF

Mouse controls are much better in 1.3 but still not great. Feels like the vertical axis is much different from the horizontal.
