Amateurish moments are a trademark of the show, it wouldn't be the Walking Dead without them  . Dat flipping car, those were some trollphysics involved. 
I liked it too, hopefully last week was just a big mistake. I think they're probably just taking it slow because hell will be unleashed with the mid-season episode.

That death was a bit unexpected, but didn't really touch me because that scene was so dumb

Seeing Morgan after the credits was better than the death
Still a nice episode, and most of the main characters seem to become more and more ruthless (i like that)
