Yep, leveling is great, at least from that standpoint this is one of best WoW expansions so far. And pretty much main criteria for me, I'm not a gear grinding person anyway.

And since today it's finally playable, but many quests are bugged (but work fine when abandoned/retaken).

Have someone 'Recruit-a-friend' you Ace. Depending when you stopped, the game has changed quite a bit.

Even though I bought up to cata, I was already starting to zone out with WotLK. Tried it again a week ago with the 7 days free, and I honestly didn't like what I saw.

Not saying the game is bad, we just went on different paths. So try it first to see if it still fits you. Smile

Depends why you left in the first place...If you are those that like to say WoW went to shit after TBC, then no. If you left because Pandas are retarded, then also no.

But if you left because you got burn out, then yes. Warlords is quite refreshing with its contents. Bugs and server issues aside, my only complain about this expansion so far is the first 2 dungeons. They really are not much of an improve over Pandaria's. Hopefully the rest are better.

That was out of anger of not even getting the chance to play it, i think anyone with more than a pea sized brain would figure that out. Why play a game i actually think of as garbage!?

Anyway, I guess any kind of objectivity from a person like you is non existing "I like leveling so the game is awesome" Well, the leveling sure was fun, and i'm done with all the zones soon, but i do expect level 100 content besides dungeon farming

There havent been one expansion with a full content for max lvl, nothing more than heroics and maybe one raid instance so buggy it wasnt able to complete.

Anyone got some more screens from the past days? Smile

I am still not playing but I am curious how people experience this expansion after some days.
Ignore the queues and all that shit upon release (Always been like that), gotten used to that.

Can only think of 1 thing so far in WOD that is an awesome idea (my opinion): No flying mounts.
Brings back vanilla WoW feelings lol.

Content wise probably my favorite xpack so far, there is just so much stuff to do and the quests and story are fantastic, love the little stuff like all the rares, treasures and fun stuff you can find on the map.

Due to the technical problems, started leveling yesterday, got nearly 95, cant wait to get 100 (getting heroic gear + start raiding), hate damn leveling Very Happy. Game feels absolutely great once again, it has been proven now many times that there just cant be better MMO than WoW, its this or nothing.

By Blizzard (lots of rare mobs that drops loot), one thing also what is pretty nice is that you can actually get epics from quests Laughing There is tiny change that item what you have selected as reward will drop into your bags as higher ilvl epic.

Not just Rar mobs i found little events and treasure chests almost everywhere there are Garnison resources and fun items, mounts (from rar mobs but there is one on every map now) and a shitton of other stuff if you don't want to miss it use a addon like http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/handynotes_draenortreasures
i found it more fun to find it myself.

I love the treasures in this expansion. To collect some of them you have to get really creative sometimes.

And garrisons are just so fucking cool.
Need more resources tho.

Blizzard has never shied away from crediting game time when having issues with their servers. It's just that they rarely say it out loud, so people don't always notice it.
Here's some from many many years ago: http://i.imgur.com/FoOnLUH.jpg

Generally, 1 day credits weren't mentioned. 3 days might be. This time around they gave 5 and wanted people to feel good about the launch.

In 2005 alone, I had 13 free days.

Edit: Proof before someone tells me I'm bullshitting.

 Spoiler:

I was on one of the full servers, which also helped with getting a few more free days.

Same here.

 Spoiler:

But let me tell you, I was playing on Gorgonnash and we nicknamed it GonnaCrash because it used to crash daily.

But I think they did something by end of 2006 and it was pretty good. I think it was major server upgrades.

So, between 2005-2006 I have received total of 28 free days.

But clearly they didn't refund as much anymore after, they clearly saw they had power to not do so.
Because why else would you guys go 8-9 years back just to prove a point Laughing
Back then they still needed to lure in users and keep them there, so ofc they play the good guys with that Laughing

They didn't anymore because they didn't have to as much anymore.
It used to be that releasing a patch, even a small one, would lead to servers being unplayable for the next 24 hours. Vanilla was horrible in that regard.
Over time, these issues start being limited to launches or the occasional bad maintenance.
They only credit time when their own failure has led to you losing unannounced game time.

It's not going back "8-9 years" when you have people showing it in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2011 and now 2014.
If we asked a few more people, we could probably cover the remaining years.

The conclusion is real.......
So now you are saying that they are the bad guys just trying to take your money !

As Kanint said they improved a lot on the servers being so much more stable !
And im not talking about this release, they downscaled a lot since people stopped playing this game! This is no different from any other game ! bf3, bf4, diablo 3, dayz and so on!

They said sorry and is giving free gametime for the time spend i queue.

Back in the dayz Stormreaver used to crash when the leading guild took down new bosses like Ragnaros, Nefarion and Onyxia...
