					| Should Dark Souls 2 really be in the RPG category? Sure you can upgrade your char, but skills and reflexes matter more than your stats in that game, which in my opinion makes it an action-game not an RPG.

Where the hell is octodad and Jazzpunk
I never remember what games came out current year.
I guess goty should go to DS2 but it was nowhere as good as first one. It was generally a bad year for games

					| ugh, here we go again. Cringefest 2014.
Since Joel McHale had some funny bits last year, it was 10% watchable. Remember the Dudebro VGA 2012 and before? Made my balls shrink due to the sheer limitless amount of embarrassment.

And they couldve added Wasteland 2 also, despite its flaws it was better than 90% of the games nominated.

And where is my "Social Justice Warrior of the Year" category?

I nominate: Anita Sarkeesian, Gawker in its entirety and Brianna Wu.

					| Best Shooter:
Damn, it's a toss up between Far Cry 4 and Wolfenstein. At a push, I'd go Far Cry 4.

 Best Action/Adventure:

Not even close to being a contest; Alien Isolation

 Best Role Playing Game:

Toss up between Divinity Original Sin and South Park (where the fuck is Wasteland 2? The fact that DAI is there is proof this industry is beyond corrupt). At a push, I'd go for Divinity Original Sin.

 Best Fighting Game:

 Ultra Street Fighter IV \o/

 Best Remaster:

 Grand Theft Auto V

 Best Narrative:

 Valiant Hearts

 Best Score:

Another toss up between Alien Isolation and Child of Light. I'm leaning towards Child of Light.

 Best Independent Game:

 Shovel Knight

 Games For Change:

 Valiant Hearts

 Developer of the Year:

Oh man, this hurts to say but... Ubisoft.

 Best Performance:

Kevin Spacey as Jonathan Irons in CODAW

 Most Anticipated Game:

 The Witcher 3

 Game of the Year:

None of those. Not even close.

					| Best Fighting Game - Most likely Super Smash Bros Wii U accordingly to early reviews.
Just wait till it's out tomorrow

Oh wait, it's a console exclusive so it doesn't count I guess ?

					| Ubisoft, this year alone, have put out South Park, Valiant Hearts, Far Cry 4, Child of Light, Might & Magic X and Watch Dogs. That certainly puts them on the top of my list
 ~edit~

aaaaaaand I just noticed "best developer" listed Ubisoft MONTREAL... eghhhh, that's a bit more bad-tasting
Still, Far Cry 4, Child of Light and Watch Dogs.

					| Haha! Honestly, I haven't tried it yet because I'm kind of burned out on AC at the moment.. the reported technical issues haven't been helping to convince me to try it either. Maybe one day. For now, I have FC4.
