also also ALSO, fuck TRUCKS!
ive got a skill that lets me hijack them which will obviously make this shit easier, but my gosh... trying to hijack a truck was nuts. id shoot one, which only made it accelerate and then mow me down (which was a total ffs moment, seriously) and another time, the truck just went berzerk and veered off the road and slammed through some trees before exploding before i could even get in and drive it back to base and i was all
fun game though

Fuck eagles, all they do is attack you while you're busy sneaking up to an outpost and fly away with half your life bar.
I want to find out where they nest and kill their young.

I kinda admit, build a world and you have half a win already. We grew up with the idea of virtual worlds, and so so so so few are delivering on that idea we had more than 20 years ago.
Far Cry did ruin every FPS out there for me when it released. All of a sudden I got massively annoyed at all them damn corridor shooters with limited worlds. It's not until a year or two, I finally started playing some of them and most of the time I still think 'urgh, must finish'. 
So yeah FC3 with is horrible characters and story delivered a lot of fun to me because they gave a sandbox for me to fuck around in. Bit like Just Cause 2... I mean, what story? I mostly muck around and the missions is for when I feel like change xD
Star Wars Galaxies is actually a good example, massive as a virtual world with not much direction. It was as flawed/bugged as some of the SP games that had massive outrage... yet a lot of people absolutely loved and still do to this day because it was a proper virtual world experience.
So yup a mediocre game in an open world can become great while a mediocre game in the land of restrictions and corridors will net you a 'meh'. xD

My terror is the damned honey badgers. I don't know how many have snuck up on me as I am sneaking up on an enemy.
