Can someone please upload his or her C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age Inquisition\Save folder? The game starts with Int's settings and there's nothing I can do from my end without a reference point.

Yep, and then happens what happened to me with Watch Dogs. For me it's unplayable even at minimum specs thanks to the big effort that Ubi always puts on game optimization Rolling Eyes

My PC exceeds the minimum requirements, but not for a lot, so I prefer to see if I can really play it.

And, of course, there are no plans of a demo release.

Can you disable the cloud saving shit, delete the settings, then try again?

Windowed mode seems to work just fine as long as it's not focused.

There any way to force window mode via shortcut? I cannot find the BF4 command to do so, if there is even one.

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

The thing is, DA3 just looks oversaturated to me. The game looks pretty great, I'll admit, but it's almost cartoonish in a sense, everything I've seen is so colorful that I wouldn't believe it's the real world for a second.

Compare the above screenshot to this one:

 Spoiler:

Massive difference.

The game has problems, like the previous games had problems, but your example is ridiculous. Did you really expect that from DA or Bioware?

I'm really enjoying the game, it opens up more every hour (I'm nor far though). I like the combat, though it's actoney (I never expected another DA:O as I said). I died several times, I actually have to keep things in check since some enemies can hit pretty hard. At this point, I'd put it next to DA:O honestly. I really enjoyed DA:O, it was great, but it also had a lot of problems. I personally am not a huge Bioware fan, some of their design decisions have always been shit, but I did enjoy all of their games (even the mediocore ones). The strength of this game is its level of detail and the clear effort taken by Bioware. I know it's said to praise effort, shouldn't every dev do that, but I rarely see true love in a game. This game has it. It's more action, but it works.
A gamepad is a must in this game btw, the k&m is just bad. Apparently Bioware forgot how to design k%m controls. I still lol at the "oh noes it controls bad with k&m? We didn't notice before release" bullshit comment on the official forum.

Another well traveled RPG veteran, no doubt.

RPGs really would be doomed if it weren't for Kickstarter and smaller developers/publishers. There'd be no hope otherwise.

I don't see how being well-traveled or leet has anything to do with my comment. I've played one several times and the other a good couple of hours, I enjoy both at the same level. Which puts them on a same enjoyment level for me.

Fixed it. Used old BF3/4 command arguments.

-noBorder -noResize -lowPriority

EDIT: Removing them causes the game to CTD upon focusing the window again. Will post this to the forums, it's absolutely lolworthy.

Is the 2560x1440 resolution breaking it? I can log in, change it to something lower, and you can try again if it helps.

This sounds messed up. So DAI is saving settings in the cloud? You have to be online in order to change resolution? Neutral

No, the game was simply crashing back to desktop without ANY errors upon focusing the window of the game. As you remember, frostbite games start in a window first and then switch to fullscreen. Here's a sample: http://i.imgur.com/GRmC57j.jpg . The moment that image or preview are clicked, the game crashes.

Then again I think he did say he was using an Intel chip to try and run it. Maybe some nVidia setting was on. But yeah, again, that should not be saved in any 'cloud' files.

*phew* I'm glad about that then. The way "always on!111!!" shit is going lately, it genuinely wouldn't come as much of a surprise Sad

If you managed to play through DA2 twice, you'll probably enjoy DA3. Cause i'm really enjoying the game at this point, and i had to drag myself to finish DA2. I didn't even went back to see what's up with DA2 DLC's Laughing

BF4 has the same problem with Afterburner. I managed to get it running with a workaround (it is a pain in the ass to do it every time i play tho):
-Start the game;
-Load a save;
Alt+tab and run afterburner.

Yeah, it's fraps. Turned it on out of curiosity. Troubleshooting, if I may. Anyway, should work now, let's see how good or bad it is.

Its mantle thing, but you can enable frostbine fps counter
http://www.reddit.com/r/dragonage/comments/2mr0ae/useful_console_commands/

My game randomly crashes ( closes on its own ) , If I dont use mantle renderer , so if you are radeon user and your game closes on its own, updateto latest 14.11.02 or what number are on now, beta drivers and use mantle rendered in options

Does Denuvo Anti-Tamper constantly encrypt and decrypt data on storage media?
No, Denuvo Anti-Tamper does not continuously encrypt and decrypt any data on storage media. To do so would be of no benefit in terms of security or performance.

Does Denuvo Anti-Tamper affect my SSD or any other type of hard drives in any way?
No. As mentioned before, Denuvo Anti-Tamper does not constantly read or write any data to storage media.
