brothers as best story? Sure it have a moving twist but thats all there is

Thought only for a few minutes, so probably missed some, but FWIW:
System Shock (not the sequel; while it had a vastly superior engine, IMHO Levine blew it big time with the story),
Max Payne 2 (amazing game; the original didn't have enough storyline elements compared to the levels' length IMHO)
Deus Ex,
Starlancer,
Tie Fighter,
Dark Forces,
Strike Commander,
Jagged Alliance (not the sequel which was again technically much superior),
SW: KOTOR (sequel had potential to be better with a darker story, but it felt rather disjointed and had a not that satisfying ending - played the restored version, of course).
Stalker, WC 3 & 4 and Mass Effect 2 were cool, too.

Not sure about Gray Matter, I never played it. but suddenly I remember a good Murder Mystery Still Life. I found the first part was very attracting. 2nd part was not as good as the previous but still a good story. What do you think about Still Life?
