If they made the 12x XP a regular thing for everyone, not just a one-off thing for subs that pre-ordered the expansion, they'd probably get a hell of a lot more people trying the game.

still im glad for the limited 12x bonus so I can level some alts to 55 without having to go through all the side missions I've played several times already.
Dont mess with God, he can impregnate your girlfriend/wife without taking his pants off!

done with this game few month ago before revans update. it has some positives, but its far less complex than "overrated" WoW. have maxed all of characters from both sides, maxed affections of each of their companions, done most achievements and i decided to leave it. Im not a psycho-fan of Star Wars universe, but i felt that SWTOR offered me less SW experience than it should offer. Zones are mostly "mirrored" to give similar experience to both sides. quests give nothing new if you compare them to any other mmo. Even storyline seems to be less connected to SW than it could be.

The thing is, at that speed, you pretty much get tired of the game in a month or two. I think 4x Xp weekends would be enough for me.

All classes now do less damage overall at Level 55 and gain that damage back as they get closer to 60.
Enemies Level 50 and below are now less difficult to defeat.
:/ eh what a way to balance the push to get people buying the expansion.

It's weird, because all you need to do is buy SOMETHING from the market.. even the cheapest of the cheapest item.. and you get bumped to the FAR better tier above. Still free to play but far better privileges for it. I don't know why they don't just implement a small $5 "one off" fee and call it a client fee or something.

yeah the f2p model is a joke. I always sub when I come back to swtor, just cant stand all the limitations.
Also about the dps reduction, im glad they're doing this as I hate those +1 million hits in other mmos. They're dropping the dps on all classes and lowering the mob hp to compensate for this.
the 12x xp is only for those who pre-ordered the expansion before nov 2nd

I thought that was the whole meaning of f2p, to be a limited demo version to tease/annoy people into spending money. Planetside 2 is the same. You can't get anywhere without real money unless you make the game your job and spend 24/7 grinding. Its a found out system and I hope the masses realize it so that we can finally kill off the "free to play" model.

Its a f2p game with limitations or sub based, preferred is just a little extra for those that originally had subbed and been playing before the f2p model was introduced.
Then it became the standard two fronts of the features to be able to play and with what you get or dont get.
Pay to win lol - you can do all the content as f2p btw, and its either time restrictions on how many warzones or flashpoints you can do as side gameplay. If thats as bad as other f2p models go right ahead keep calling it that. 
The expansion is new and just that, you could also be f2p and buy the expansion ( its not much is it now? ) on its own and unlock rise of the hutt with that. Its the best f2p model around ffs lol. A one time unlock sub at £8.99 or cheap item off the market or however much the cost is of the expansion.

Planetside 2 does not gimp you in any way for not paying. If you just want to play casually and not achieve 100% certs or something, you can easily specialize in what you like for free. If you want to play hardcore and cert quickly a lot then their boosts can make it a lot easier.
I see SW:TOR even limits your chat and many other stuff. What a joke EA.

Well, i downloaded it and i got a 7 day sub through referral , so i gonna play this for 7 days and see if i enjoy it or not. If i do, i might sub for a month.

I REALLY want to like this game, I really do. I played it way back when, and originally liked it. But then I realised, I'm as much a powerful Jedi as I am a Herculean Sex God. (I'm not far off...)
There has always been something a bit.. off with the feel of the game. Even the previous Star Wars MMO had that 'feel' that made it bearable.
Oh well, the wait continues...
