Okay so here goes maybe someone here can help me out
First i have never played skyrim shame im late but ive played morrowind years ago so my question or questions are.
A.I have the legendary edition im guessing it has everything needed.
B.Installed and played the opening town and stopped im in the forest by the stones where you choose which.
C.Things ive noticed the characters glide like they are on ice This is an older game i understand but geez.Im getting stutters and lag in play when i installed it autoed me to high settings as default Im googling for a fix ini etc
D.Ive read a lil of this thread about these mods Requiem problem is i dont know what tha fuck a Requiem is..Im googling that too
So my questions are i want to go from vanilla game to playable what would you recommend for a novice as far as mods goes there are huge amounts.
Edit: Wait so this nexus mod shit u gotta pay for oh hell no
I would say play vanilla + textures mods, unofficial patches and other graphic enhancements like ENB or whatever you prefer (personally, I hate how it makes everything so blurry). Half a year after you finish the game and forget everything -> play those mods.

Thanks after googling Ign has a list of 15 mods dated for aug of this year i might give a shot.According to them theres thousands of mods for this. Ive never heard of or played a game that has so many mods overwhelmed is not even the word for it.
B.What i was saying was theres 3 stones depending on which one you choose you get awarded with skills warrior mage and magic to level up faster.
C.I seen dude get shot by some arrows at the start he was runing from the beheadings and his body flew about 2 feet id say like a ragdoll terrible graphics.Theres a mod on that nexus site that says it fixs that.
Im still googling ill see what i come up with thanks for your help

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Ah, felt like playing Skyrim (after I thought of playing DA:I ) on the new gpu so installed it and was content... then the fun part started with spending 3/4 hours installing mods.
I'm waiting for something like the overhaul mod for Morrowind for my next playthrough. Sifting through all the mods and still seeing problems after some hours of gameplay (probably because I fuck something up) burned me out I need noob friendly modding.

Even if you don't fuck something up when installing, something always fucks up eventually (whether you notice it or not). The game is pretty unstable even before you mod it (and barely takes advantage of the hardware you throw at it).
The last install for example; I tested it with mods for HOURS before I started a new game, and I was certain it'd be fine. It was only when I was 30hrs in that I started getting various CTDs, Hearthfire houses not working, certain areas crashing that didn't crash before and so on. Now I'll remove some, add some more, clean/bash patch/edit/skyproc/reorder and then try again
I have a stress test method here (scroll down on the main page):
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/141/?
that's what i use instead of playing for maybe 20h and then noticing something is messed up...
I really hate modding the TES/FO games (modding them for playing the games), it's extremely time consuming and requires a ton of reading.
