Kind of wish I'd rolled a dual wield rogue over a mage. Is Cole very good or does he require endless babysitting?

89 Hours so far. Game has has shortcomings like UI and tactical camera, but overall the game is fantastic.

GTX 680 and have 50-60fps on Ultra, only shadows, blur and AA that is not active/on max

Endless babysitting. The AI doesn't circle around the enemy's back and just stand there in front of the cleaves.

Uh-huh. Sure you do.

GTX 970 @ 1526/8000 maxed GPU usage, the settings you claimed.

In fact, only by disabling MSAA can I get to your figures. Are you sure it's even enabled? If you're forcing it from CP it's probably not applying. Disable post-process AA and see if you get jag-a-rama.

I give up! Remembered wrong. High was not Max on some settings.

Still Running Ultra on the important settings and the game runs 50-60 fps.

Well here you go then:

1080p, ultra, 2msaa (MFAA on in driver menu = 4MFAA)
What kind of CPU you got? MAYBE that changes a lot? Doubt it but who knows....

By the way there is a texture setting called "touched by the fade" above ultra?! Doesn't change anything performance-wise. At least not that I could see.

Unselect the currently selected quest in your log. Just open the log and "select" the quest again, the marker will vanish and that should remove the onscreen log.

Doesn't the quest log disappear all on its own after a few seconds? It did for me, at least, but it would be nice to hide it permanently...

Not if you've got a quest "highlighted" in your log, it stays permanently.

Not how it is for me - I have an active quest and it disappears.
I do have "Fade when no active quests" selected in interface options, but that seems to imply that it should work like you describe and very early in the game I did, in fact, deactivate quests manually for that purpose. But since quests get activated every time you get a new one (and you get a lot of them) I stopped doing it and it still disappears just fine.

I give them a direct order: stand your motherfucking ground, cunts! don't fucking move, don't breath and don't scratch your hairy balls or else! But no , apparently it's too much to ask. The moment I move Dorian to resurrect me dat stupid dyke Sera instead of holding her ground runs towards the dragon... jesus.. Rage

And why the fuck the game gets unpaused when I switch characters in non-tactical mode?! Mind Is Full Of Fuck

The AI behaviour is indeed very inconsistent (and I also have it disabled on all party members) - very prone to "interrupts" on their orders for no apparent reason.
"Interact" orders are the worst (with rifts or revivals) - they flat out refuse to do them sometimes while standing next to the object in question, or change their minds and run off somewhere. I literally have to re-issue the same order a few times in a row, and even then they just refuse and I have to go Harbinger on their asses.

Doesn't work that way for me, I also have the contextual HUD thing enabled. Disabling quests in the log would be crappy since they get activated as you say and setting waypoints for a quest target first activates that quest. I just don;t see the use of that thing, makes no sense IMO.

OK. I have no idea why but... I installed Windows 8.1 and tried the same location with the same settings and...

Mind Is Full Of Fuck

I've no idea how to explain that. I guess it's true that Windows 8.1 is flat out better for Dragon Age Inquisition, but to that extent!?

I should offer my apologies for doubting you. For once, it wasn't someone lying to extend their e-peen.

Yes, but the difference was supposed to be a few FPS. This is 38 vs 50.
