That is actually quite nice. It forces you to read the operation premises and choose accordingly in stead of just sqitching between the three options and mindlessly picking the shortest time.

I did pretty OK using the "recommended" candidate or favored or whatever the game called it again but then I stumbled into a issue near the later half of the game.

Strangely enough the outcome so far has been pretty OK simply by going by who's "best" at a job (Which it now seems I completely misunderstood.) but now I wonder if some of those other missions could have been handled better.
(Mostly I've been going for Influence rewards but then I noticed I could just buy it at Skyhold with more than enough available to max it out at rank 20, however that takes a lot of gold.)

I won't use the walkthrough more myself until the next playthrough but it did surprise me though I'm not entirely against it since as posted above you have to check the mission details for whom might be the ideal candidate.

Latest news from 3DM is the first batch of testers got the test crack, about one third failed to run game. They're working on it. Also one of the testers were found to be a spy from rival ALI213 . The test crack probably will get leaked soon.

My rings work (such as going from 200% weapon damage to 266%) but yeah, sometimes the bonuses vanish when you change scene or load a game.

Not something I have noticed but I have seen several smaller bugs.

For example a collection quest in Skyhold tasks you with finding 48 books on "Hard in Hightown" (Varric's crime novel, not porn.) but saving and loading causes the searched books to become active again and even after finishing the quest (Probably by activating some books twice.) they are still active but it's minor, just some more clutter to click on. Razz

There has been a few letters and books however that have done nothing when activated but I believe most if not all of them have gone into the Codex so you can view the info there however not all letters (Including even the info for the monuments you can claim.) will be archived this way so it's possible to miss some bits of info here and there.

Respawning is also very erratic with sometimes just going into a nearby cave or similar causing the encounter to reset and spawn another group of bandits or wildlife or whatever although it's not very common and the respawn rate is quite high overall but seeing a second group appear mere moments after you dispatched of them can be a annoyance, especially if you go right into combat again because they spawned nearly ontop of your current position.
(This is deliberate I assume - for farming and all that. - but I would have preferred respawning to either only happen when you leave the current area and come back or when you use a tent to rest.)

EDIT: Oh and yeah two mosaic pieces in the Hinterlands are missing so you can't complete that mural, usually each of those is confined to a separate region although some (Freed are the Slaves, for example) have one or two pieces in every region.

I'm still having fun with the game but the (almost) total lack of tactical elements really gets in my nerves more and more. This and some cheesy voiceovers and dialogues. Some dialogues are like a script for a bad porn movie. I've tried to force myself using the tactical camera on hard difficulty and the result was a disaster. Maybe I'm doing something wrong idk but I'm pretty sure the game is designed to be played action rogue style. So much potential in this one destroyed by the derp virus. Q6600 OC 3.0ghz, MSI R9 280x Gaming Edition, 7gb ram, Asus P5KC

Yeah they work when you first equip them, but as soon as you transition/load, they don't.

Ok this is just dumb. You can use the fade-touched stuff in your armour to generate guard as a mage. Now even if you get dispelled nothing can touch you. KE is even more broken that Arcane Warrior was in DAO.

It would only make fights longer. With KE the more people are attacking you the better because of barrier regeneration. I tried the Hissing Wastes dragon on Nightmare and he only brought my barrier down once and that was before i got the last Spirit barrier perk. Plus I would miss all the banter

I've installed win 8.1 today and, holy crap, the game indeed runs better 1920x1200, everything maxed out, msaa disabled. I used to get 70+ fps in the corridor leading to the war table in Skyhold. Now I get ~85-90 fps I had like 29-35fps at Redclliffe , now I get ~40-55 fps. Well, fuck me.. 1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB 2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

Just wanted to say that you can actually upgrade to Windows 8.1 from 7, you just have to upgrade to regular 8 first then to 8.1. Did it myself recently. Suprisingly the only issue I had was that I had to reinstall my antivirus. Otherwise all programs and drivers work fine.

It's that easy? Everything just gets transferred? I never did an update of any Windows before, I always did clean installs in fear of future fuck ups. I've been wanting to try Win8.1 for a time now, but my WIn 7 setup is perfect atm. I really hate installing apps again Sad

I tried going to Win 8 via upgrading today. I don't recommend it. It has been nothing but a headache and a nightmare. I've spent 7 hours trying to unfuck my PC and now I'm simply giving up, wiping everything, starting over with a fresh 8.1 ISO install.

Well apparently none of the applications gets transferred, only the personal data. Since I can just backup the user folder, I don't fully understand the need of an upgrade :/ I'll just do a clean install too, I guess I needed the final push from this game

I discovered you can actually get Iron Bull to put a damn shirt on: Naturally it was in his favourite colour pink. It's pretty. Also, out of curiosity I decided to check out what a quest creature that you'd normally want to keep alive dropped as loot: Might be useful for rogues.
