It's an ok popcorn flick, very forgetable. Doesn't come close to Hunger Games (and those aren't exactly masterpieces). Don't forget to turn of your brain, and ignore the (many) plotholes.

It's Ghibli. That makes it automatically worth watching.. BUT! I'd wait. unless you're fluent in Japanese, Mandarin or Cantonese then I'd hold off for now. The English version is being done by James Caan and Chloë Grace Moretz. Supposedly DVD/BR release is today, so it'll be up sometime soon.

hush waldo, it wasn't shit, it was a really well made dracula movie with a great actor in the role. it was just shallow because they cut so much shit out.

It's OK (6.5-7) considering 1) how much stuff was cut 2)it's Hollywood.
Besides,it is certainly better than most vampire films released after Interview With The Vampire & Dracula(1992) with the exception of Byzantium and some indie films.
