Guys, guys, guys, of course, all we do with our CPUs is play games. We do nothing else. We live for the fps. Nother else. We have our computers, but we use them as consoles just for games. So other advantages that CPUs have, we don't care about, we only care about the fps because all we do it game.
derpmax, in the other thread, you said your friends call you by your user name. Do they call you "derp"?

of course its all relative, 85 and 80 isnt a huge difference, but anything below 60 that pushes it above is.

Intel has no competition in the CPU market since many years.
Just look at the i5-2500k. I have it since over 3 years and it still fucks most games pretty good, and probably will continue doing so for at a bit of time (hopefully)
That's for games at least. But i read in some other special areas AMD CPUs are better

Lol just because a bullshit AMD Cpu can get 60fps as well as an Intel Cpu doesnt make it as good as the intel dogshit ^^.
IntelCpus are by far better in every aspect. And if the game really uses these Cpus at their full power Amd doesnt stand a dogshit smelling chance.
And dont forget the core aspect. Amd with 8 cores might fuck 4 core intel cpus in some areas no doubt about it....but that isnt magic you understand?

Dude wtf, I own amd CPUs for years, currently Phenom II which I think was AMD last cpus that actually didnt get their ass beaten to the ground by Intel.
Next processor I will buy will be Intel for sure, a simple i5 4440 shits on FX 8350 when it comes to gaming not by 2-5 fps but often 10-15, in many cases its not a difference of having 60fps vs 60fps but having 60 on Intel and 45 on AMD and the difference in price is marginal and you can buy them almost at the same price.
And yes Intel changes sockets a lot, too much I would agree with that but if I buy normal mobo on 1150 right now like Z97 for example and lets say i5 4440 I can still upgrade it in lets say 2 years to something like 4690k, OC it and it will still outperform new AMD cpu by miles.
So to sum it up, Intel CPUs generations are right now so good that you dont have to change mobo for many years, just buy better cpus to it and it will still kick amd ass.
One of the main reasons Intel are so pricey its cause AMD sucks cock and Intel has no real competition when it comes to PC gaming.

UAC is set to the lowest setting, only thing I haven't done is disable at the OS level like Win8 usually requires compared to Win7. I'll try moving RT to another drive but it was in root of C and not ProgFiles or any other UAC-protected location. All my OTHER startup apps work perfectly from Startup folder or in Reg\RUN.

who buys a new cpu every 3 months? this thread is full of raging amd fanboys grasping for every straw even though intel just has far better performance.
Night and day difference, no contest. It's turned a thoroughly frustrating experience into a hugely enjoyable one.
