As of this moment, 72 frigging hours into the game, I've decided to cut out all the filler. No more fetch quests unless it's specifically for a companion, a War Table mission, or a story. No letters, no parcels, no Darkspawn caves, no deliveries. Nothing. The filler is killing the game for me because of the damned obsessive compulsion to "do everything"

I'm similar in the way I have to pick up all stuff I encounter and the stuff respawns all the time so I spend loads of time harvesting. They kinda overdid it in this game - it's more a game for guys who love playing with metal detectors than RPG fans. The rest of the game is solid but my personality just makes the collecting tedious after a while.

I'm not doing any requisition orders and shard collecting, it's more fun that way. I only pick things up if they're on my actually.

"Luckily" for me, the shard collecting bugged out in Storm Coast so I felt no guilt over using Cheat Engine to snag them all. Fuck it.

It's a fairly pointless grind, as by the time you have actually collected them all, the resistances are basically trivial. My first playthrough I didn't even open the first door until after I had finished the final main story mission and killed 7 or 8 of the dragons.

Why does the hold command affect everyone, and not just the character I'm currently controlling?

Shards are actually for a quest as you need an insane amount of them to open elemental doors in a temple at Oasis. |
I opened a few doors and left it at that. The whole area and the shard collecting itself is boring IMO.

". It´s surprising that it can´t maintain 60fps in some areas using two GTX 980 @ 1450mhz. Not really well optimized compared to other Frostbite 3 games.
It's fun for a while but now I'm done with it. I just want the good/story missions done, kill some Dragons, then be finished.
