Season 1, Episode Special - “The Manhattan Project: Beyond the Bomb”
WGN America will air a half-hour original special looking at the fortified secret suburban society of 1940s Los Alamos. Premiere of “The Manhattan Project: Beyond The Bomb” will be followed by airings on Tribune stations nationwide.
I've finished it today (I had to take a break for some time after episode 5 due to personal problems + DAI release ) and I gotta admit I'm glad I didn't buy into" oh-looks-terrible-look-at-the-cast" posts.
Actually, the cast did a really impressive job. They all "delivered" so to speak unlike most actors on quite a few popular shows out there. It was also nice seeing Peter Stormare
It's got a good writing, characters you actually "believe" & a sort of unique (among other tv series) setting. It started a bit slow but every episode got better and better.
Definitely one of the best shows released in 2014. I'm glad that they still make quality shows like that..
