i'm confused. what exactly did you want changed, for WoW to turn into a flight sim or... ? there is so much to do in wow now, you don't have to farm anything if you don't want to. just go on treasure hunts or something, along many other activities.
yeh, farming is required pretty much for achievements/harcore players, is not require for the normal gameplay or casual play.
you can play without farming anything, and you can still have a lot of stuff to do. i will probably play for another month, really like what they did in this expansion.

His arguments are pretty nonsensical as well. So he refuses to do the pure PvP content (Arenas and Rated Battlegrounds) and complains that the zone they made with the goal of recreating the old Alterac Valley experience is forcing him to kill some mobs? Bitch please.
New Anti-Aliasing Options - MSAA, SSAA, SSAA + CMAA

Previously, WoW used Forward Rendering. When working on the expansion, Blizzard changed to Deferred Rendering.
After making the change, they removed the original Anti-Aliasing options as they didn't work right out of the box with the new system. They're now adding them back (+ new ones) in the first patch of the expansion.
Edit: First "big" patch of the expansion. 6.1 instead of simply hotfixes.
I started playing again.... I lost the WoW addiction battle
But so far the questing is good fun, and not flying around is the best step they've taken for me (hope it never comes back).
Wow with its endless addon bullshitbombs. Man fuck the good old times in 2004-2005 when everything was fucking exciting. That feeling faded quickly. Now its regular bullshit every year.
Nothing wrong in WoW´s graphics, art style is so good that it doesnt need fancy tech, those new models are nice plus tho (little higher polycount on rest of the world would make the game look very good).

Have you even tried the dick ass game now?. Its very good now, on par with vanilla/TBC shit, love it absolutely once again (Cata and Mop were so shit that i nearly castrated myself).
I played till Cataclysm then I was fucking done with this shit. Now you can even find raid assholes in seconds and then it all goes to shit. I have my WoW insider but he loves the game of course I can only puke when hearing about WoW....

actually they now made flr loot system okish, and i presume you know that you can hide the chat anyway. lfr is piss easy, and thats they way it should be.
