Both running same AMD latest Omega drivers and Win7 x64.
Any thoughts? |
Anyone else have success with an old Wolfdale chip? Or is my issue not related to the CPU and Denuvo at all? Not sure where else to start troubleshooting.

Took me an insane amount of time, but I finally installed everything and played for a while. The first impressions are...a mixed bag of mixed bagginess. Though it's undeniably and definitely a consistent, noticeable improvement over that second thing that started with D and involved hitting the head on the desk till coma (and which I had already uninstalled at this point).
I went for a male (sneaky, rogue) Qunari, obviously there were no doubts about that, the Bull ain't gonna fuck itself.
As expected, the keyword here is accessibility and cinematic-ness, and the production values are 100% blockbuster-like. Dialogues are very basic, nuBiowareish I-want-to-be-your-durrgon-style, after all the target is the TL;DR generation, but the characters seem interesting so far and they actually have some personality. We all know though that the focus of the game are romances and buttsecs, they're my incentive and something to eagerly look forward to.
There's the huge problem though *sad trombone*, and it's the fact that everything is so damn consolish . I instantly and bravely mouse 'n keyboarded the game, and while it's playable, it's absolutely not optimal and somewhat clunky.
Why create such a hybrid, if you're never allowed to have complete freedom like in DA1. Why put a huge focus on direct-action-based combat, if it's so simplified and involves the constant pressing of the omnipresent awesome button. It never really feels too rewarding this way and I already predict that I will get bored after a few more hours of play. You can tell from a mile away that the game was designed to be played with a gamepad from the couch, despite the 'redesigned' interface and tacticool view. Hope the future quests will be interesting and varied enough to make me forget about this, so far they've been a bit underwhelming here in the Hinterlands. On the plus side though, them never-ending hordes of respawning enemies from DA2 are gone, thank lord Voldermort for that.
The performance is actually pretty good considering my outdated card (40-50fps on high/tessellation disabled), and no stuttering in-game, definitely better than I expected. The game does look nice, albeit nothing too 'wow' worthy for me because some assets and textures can be pretty rough at times. Models and faces are great, though (in general, the presentation seems more than fine). Level design is okay, nothing mindblowing but so far places are far less empty than those ugly, brown, square-y rooms in DA2 that I still have nightmares about.
Even if I'm still at the beginning, I already know though that I will not like this Inquisition as much as I liked DA1. I don't consider it a bad game, it's just that I find it quite generic and soulless. Bioware have tried to fix some of their huge mistakes with this one and it shows, but they succeeded only partially, because the more direct approach and more streamlined philosophy are still there, and sadly they rarely tickle me in the right way. But I've yet to meet the Bull, that could change everything.

Win 7 (too lazy to switch, will do it when 10 arrives...maybe!)
I decided to limit the framerate to 45fps with Rivatuner's OSD, so I have no spikes and it's very playable. Ultra details on the other hand only produce a massive rape party without improving the visuals too much, so it's all fine to me.

To whom could concern this is my ( unlucky) situation:
My system is AMD Phenom X4 955 BE, geforce 660 gtx, 8 gb ram, forceware 344.75 ( the ones suggested for this game) , win 7 64 bit, no internet connection ( I have it in my notebook) .
I did a clean game install in a game folder created in C:\, installed all the content in the VC folder, put read only game folder and game files, after that switched off and switched on my pc many times , tried to play with v1 and v2 cracks, and always I did everything as administrator: the result is the same as when I click on the launcher it loads for 2/3 seconds and nothing happens and I checked no game is actually running in the background. I fear until next crack I will have to play the x360 game!!!Thank you for the attention

It is 100% NOT sterile. Moving trees grass people birds enemies banners flags and the world is constantly changing. And every area looks different and interesting. You take a fortress full of bandids you make it your own your people flood the fortress and its alive. Do not fucking insult this games graphics you fucking animals.

So I encountered a quest-breaking bug (that, from what I read, potentially breaks the whole quest chain in Exalted Plains). There is a wounded chevalier in the trenches area of the map, and I can't talk to him. When I press A the conversation doesn't trigger at all. I googled a bit and it seems a couple of people had this problem as well.
Any way to force the quest stage in the console or something?

@Neon
Sometimes reloading the game helps. I had this bug when I needed to talk to a defeated boss.I reloaded the save I made before I started fighting him and it helped although not on a first try.
