You can get "free" 500XP by crafting CS:GO badges 
5 cards each 0,07€ (5 sets) = 5 * 0,07 * 5 = 1,75€
You will get 5 emoticons and 5 backgrounds each sells for 0,11€ (you will gain 0,09€) or worth 100 gems.
Sell that stuff: 10 * 0,09 = 0,9€ (selling gem sack you will also gain 0,9€)
You will also get a holiday card (5 cards for each badge) which are selling for 0,19-0,2€ (minus fees - 0,17 or 0,18€)
Sell them: 5 * 0,17 = 0,85€
0,85 + 0,9 = 1,75€ same price for all CS:GO cards

apparently valve is stepping up its region locking... its locking everthing in cheaper regions, even older games... shows over folks, you dont have to go home but you cant stay here.

you know what? i almost wonder if this gems shit is valve introducing a new trading system, but instead of people setting their OWN prices, valve will allow traders to 'sell their games' for gems, but at a price set by valve...
i mean theres more to this gem shit than an auction and booster packs, this might be the new trade currency, but one that valve can set the ONLY trade prices for, and make substantial profits from...
thoughts?

lol such bullshit. they talk about the russian market, but theyve applied the block to other regions as well that have nothing to do with whats happening in russia...
and that 'blocked gifting from lower priced regions to higher priced regions' thing.. is that JUST for those 3 territories mentioned above, or is this now a blanket rule? can i still recieve gifts from the US? can the brits??

i dont think valve would revise regional pricing. regional pricing exists BECAUSE people in different countries have different incomes. it wouldnt make sense to raise the prices in a store for an economy thats failing
