I like how if they need to actually fix anything in the game it takes them 3-4 months to do it. But when they want to "fix" something the user wasn't suppose to see it takes them 3 days.

I'm rapidly getting fed up with this company. The game is broken and what do they do? They spend the time putting out a patch that removes the hidden/disabled DLC outfits and replace them with stock models instead, same with the weapons.
No performance fixes. No visual fixes. Just more dickery.

I'm glad I read that post on the Steam community forums first and that Steam schedules downloads a few hours down the line before downloading them so I had time to back up the game and then restore the altered files.
(Kept the patched files too for whatever reason but if it's now confirmed they did indeed block DLC content there's probably not any actual fixes in this update.)

honestly i would rather have the mission DLCs unlocking at the same place as in PS3 version (iirc it was after History Crux or what its called - here is after beating the game) than having these cosmetic ones
but yeah this was pretty asshole move , they should rather fix the game

Wasnt able to get the dlc unlocker and tweaks as it is now removed, anyone got sauce? Or should I not worry since I Yarr my ffx-2?

Those are unfortunately the ones I fear are most likely to be cut due to "reasons" but we'll just have to wait and see I suppose.
For outfits ( That's these again. - http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Lightning_Returns:_Final_Fantasy_XIII_Garbs ) I think all the ones under "Astral Lord" is at risk, minus perhaps the three last ones as those seem like general DLC releases.
(EDIT: Which ends up meaning all DLC outfits minus just those three, at worst.)
Many of them are either promotional DLC* and pre-order exclusive content and some of them also require playing other products or demos to unlock which don't exist on PC.
(* - Buying from a certain store or buying stuff like certain extras like a guide book.)
Might even include gear that would unlock for having save files from XIII and XIII-2.
EDIT: A DLC unlocker is probably likely but I kinda doubt Square will make the same oversight they did with XIII-2 so the content might work but will look like other standard outfits.

So in my region FF 13 costs 7.23$ (was planning on buing it but thought that the price will even drop more)
But as far as i could read on this page now square is pulling some shiet.
So question: do ppl who play the yarr version have an advantage (do you actually get punished for buying the game?)

Naw, both versions of XIII are the same. No advantage/disadvantage to either copies -- though XIII-2 Yarr version *can* be downgraded so that you can get back the hidden DLC which works with the unlocker. Legit version has had the DLC removed so the unlocker no longer works.

You ~can~ downgrade the legit one also... I tried it and it works.
xdelta for the models and an xdelta for the exe to "unlock it" straight without the earlier tool (which I have not tried back then xD)
A topic named "Final Fantasy XIII (Unused/Beta/Early stuff)" is the source, should be easy to find.
