Pretty sure I read on the MGS wiki that Kojima found the idea amusing but eventually confirmed it to be false.
(Chico undergoing a sex change to become Quiet.)

Though there's also some who think it's Paz but seeing how Ground Zeroes handled her that's doubtful.

That could be a fun twist and a throwback to the scene in Metal Gear Solid 1, Big Boss / Wounded Snake sneaking into the male restroom and seeing Quiet using one of the urinals there. Razz
(Instead of sneaking into the female restroom and finding that girl half-dressed in one of the toilet stalls, which I think resulted in getting yelled at by both her and your superior, which I also think happened in Deus Ex come to think of it.)

And Raiden was intended to be lame, if this story was to be seen as Solid Snake point of view, it would have been silly. Solid Snake was already the "idiot" in MGS1, no need to be the idiot twice in MGS2.

As much as I was surprised back then in 2001 when I first played it on PS2 (didn't know about him since I had leeched the DVDR back then and people barely leaked Raiden informations), I thought it was fine. It's basically MGS1 Solid Snake, with a different character models. Same abilities too Very Happy (my mistake, how dare I speak about abilities, I forgot you only watched the game.

Eee... no. I've 'watched' the game one after another and there amount of stupidity in Raiden's dialog is nowhere to be seen in mgs1. But hey, I don't give a fuck about your memories of the game back from 2001...

everything is retconned sooner or later in the mg series, you just have to let go of such ancient concepts as "consistent timeline" and "continuity" Laughing

Busted inverse mouse controls and the crash if you have a gamepad connected were probably the biggest issues with the port so good that they have fixed them.

The biggest issue is the mouse sensitivity bug when you're zoomed in with a sniper rifle. Still not fixed I see. Sad

Im using a ps4 controller with ds4tool but my binoculars are constantly zoomed in Sad the fuck, i have to keep R2 pressed down all the time, anyone else have this?


On the other hand the game looks and plays awesome!
