I didn't play a single game from 2014, so I will rate everything:
1.ixigia - this kunt impresses me every E3, he must be sponsored by Redbull because his coverage was non-stop and awesome.
2. AngryJoe - We all wept with him when his videos got DMCA'd. We have all taken the emotional rollercoaster with him this year.
3. LeoNatan - Slips a spot this year behind AngryJoe. Not sure why, but he does.
4. Sabin - Slips as well. Had a good year, but not the excellence we have all come to expect.
5. Lego Movie - Good movie. My 3-year old nephew recommended it to me, so that is a solid movie recommendation.
6. Captain Morgan Rum - Really enjoyed this drink this year.
7. Beer - Slips a spot this year due to the rum.
8. Sex - Slips from #1 which is a record. Sex life took a dive because of the rum.
9. Denuvo - Not since StarForce has the cracking scence trembled in Fear.
10. E3 - No stupid connect games, which is good, but then we miss on the NFOhump rage, which is bad. Slips a few places.

Alien: Isolation, TWD: S2 and FC4. Everything else I played was either garbage or mediocre.

Only played 2 games released in 2014... Murdered: Soul Suspect and Betrayer. So here it goes:
1. Murdered: Soul Suspect
Good enough story and a setting (everything supernatural already makes a good story and setting for me), awesome main character, really liked his image where tattoo's reflected his life (playing memory segments about his life would make game even better). Too bad it was really short and repetitive.
2. Betrayer
At first I really enjoyed black&white visual design, but later switched to colors. Good mix between stealth, combat and exploring. Haven't finished it yet.

1) Far Cry 4 - Most fun I've had this year (and longest tenure of any game this year except for number
2) Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls - I think Blizzard got it right this time. Having a blast with this.
3) Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor - Nothing like killing lots of orcs and who can forget Dush?
4) Wasteland 2 - Brings back the ol' Fallout vibe
5) Elite Dangerous - Never had as much fun with a space sim since Elite II: Frontier way back when
6) Divinity OS - Haven't played much but what I've played so far, I am really enjoying the story, humor and the combat.
7) Assassin's Creed Unity (XBone) - Despite the technical flaws, it really is a fun game and the new parkour system is cool.
8 ) Assassin's Creed: Rogue (Xbox 360) - Nice twist on the storyline. Definitely a little harder than the static AC games
9) Tropico 5: Really like the progressing through ages element.
10) Age of Wonders III: Not as good as the first one, but the AI in the tactical combat is pretty smart

1. Dragon Age: Inquisition
2. Alien: Isolation
3. Divinity: Original Sin
4. Might and Magic X
--big gap--
5. Wolfenstein: New Order
6. South Park The Stick of Truth
7. Far Cry 4
8. Legend of Grimrock 2
9. Elder Scrolls Online
10. Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments
Nothing that really stood out this year, a lot of good games but nothing truly new or truly great for me.
