from my perceptive this game looks pretty retarded , the amount of shit from the GUI you get on screen its awful [see here blinking green weapons USE THOSE , here this will open , here this and that ] ... the after 15 min , first EVER question can you turn off the GUI : Dunno , i think no , well its no NO NO
all i could see by looking at this game was Viking: Battle for Asgard or Beowulf but this time you play as a Roman
meh game , would buy it only if it was 5$

the game will suck.
u know microsoft had to rush the shit out of crytek to get this as a launch title, reminds me of conan: the barbarian (atleast it had the nekkid ladies) for xbox 360.

Decided to give a go and got it for 30€ . Im on 5th chapter ( 8 total ) ... this game looks epic , setting is awesome , voice acting too...but damn the gameplay . Is it that hard to put more moves and make execution timing more intuitive and hard to pull off..this game just needs that , nothing more , some decent , basic hack N slash gp..put some light RPG elements that makes sense , some gear...holy shit it's so fuckin easy , shame really. Just copy battle system from some game if you are lazy ffs , and it would be great. So much potential wasted.

Finished it , 5.5 / 10 ... finished it mostly cause of decent story , voice acting and gfx..gp is pure shit. Epic setting and battles ruined by retarded combat system , what a shame and waste of potential. Tried MP in co-op Arena , definitely more fun..but still I got bored pretty fast..

Hmm gonna get this despite the bad comments. Should be pretty cheap now since it was a launch title.
May the NFOrce be with you always.

I bought a copy just the other day off an individiual seller from Amazon brand new for like $9.50 plus $4 shipping, I feel ripped off. I should have known this wouldn't be my type of game. Oh well I can' probably sell it for about what I paid for it .

Played upto chapter 3. I like it lol. The game obviously gets better the more you play it as you unlock upgrades and executions. I was pretty disappointed to see in game purchasing though. That needs to disappear completely or stay on the mobile platforms. The game is very scripted and I'm sure I won't have any desire for a 2nd playthrough which is a shame because it looks stunning but that's hardly surprising since it runs on CryEngine3. It's got some good ideas such as the shielded advancing scenes and the other sections with strategic elements. The story is intriguing and will keep me playing but it's a shame the executions still work even if the wrong button is pressed. That seems odd to me. By the end I'm sure it will get repetitive but then that statement applies to most games.
May the NFOrce be with you always.
