the movie they say is set at the end of the war 1945, so even though the tigers had not been in the fight long as they entered service late they still were hard battle worn from fighting, the one in the film they fight looks like they really were just driving around outside the museum lol. I mean seriously it looked like it just had a lick of paint.
Also in 1943 the german tank crews were told to repaint the base colour of the tank with that tan shit and then go over top with whatever else, but majority of tanks fighting on the north africa front ( tunisia ) etc kept the tan base coat as majority coverage to view due to desert fighting conditions etc. The film once again is in 1945 and not in the desert it seems :O
Yet the tiger in the film depicts its fighting in africa :/
