Nice, but now I have to wait for the Firefox monkeys to do what Chrome does.
How does this affect the streaming? I'm thinking 1080p @ 60fps will require some serious bandwidth?

Firefox is still missing several HTML5 features, Chrome supports since some time now.
But Mozilla seems to prefer to change the design every few version numbers or include some fucking chat

I still don't get why I can watch 60 fps videos on other platforms like twitch with firefox though. |
From what i know, flash and 60 fps isn't properly optimized and has too many flaws with it.
No idea the hows and why's exactly though

Supposedly some of the latest bleeding edge betas have hacky workarounds for MSE (Media Source Extensions) that let you play 720p60 on YT, but they're buggy and prone to crashing. YAY >_>

guess im pretty late on this, but praise satan, firefox finally does 60 fps youtube as well. welcome to the future, mozilla... yes, yes, i know its not cinematic and its faster than the eye can see, but thank you for finally, bedgrudgingly, doing it anyway
