That happens when people keep the image up of Scandinavian countries being so rich! 
But yeah reason why I don't want SEK prices anywhere, I get screwed with the Euro (nothing against the Euro, more hate is towards the companies) enough as it is.
That being said... our Australian and Lord of the Ringzian brethren have it far worse on prices.  |

Slovenia has it the worst in the case of GTA V: 77.99€ which amounts to 90 USD, even more than Turkey.
What puzzles me is that this is the only AAA game that has been overpriced exclusively for my country and I can't think of a reason WHY they did it.

The reason behind these high prices is because of retail seller in your area/country.
Turkey has its tumor called "Aral game" which fucks everthing up and doesn't give a shit about customers. 2 Days before gta's steam price announcement this company has set the game's price to 200 try(73,5€), so now we got the same price on steam due to "fair competition" probably.

But yeah, I know Slovenia isn't exactly a poor nation... but most of us other Euro's already bitch how unacceptable 60€ is xD Fucking console pricing.  |

Of course, there are many non-"drug" cartels. Telecommunication cartels, electronic distribution cartels, etc. I just love how they give it these PR names such as "fair competition". |

I find it odd that the steam copy is more expensive than the retail one because they usually price match. Like the situation in Turkey when the retail distributer decided to overprice the game and Rockstar set it to higher to match the price of the distributer. There doesn't seem to be this sort of pressure from a distributer around here, at least for the moment.
