Slovenia has it the worst in the case of GTA V: 77.99€ which amounts to 90 USD, even more than Turkey.

What puzzles me is that this is the only AAA game that has been overpriced exclusively for my country and I can't think of a reason WHY they did it.

Because they know that the standard in Slovenia is lower than the rest of the EU. Smile Its a luxury and has 22% added tax.

WTF?
Are You Serious

You probably get a serial number anyways with your retail version to redeem on the Social Club. Just download the non-cracked ISO for install

Buy a disc drive? Or buy the retail one for the key and download the ISO that's bound to pop up on the net within minutes of release?

Not gonna buy a disk drive just for gta. I'll grab the iso, then. Granted it's not a steam version or smth

I disagree, though I'm a great fan of GTA franchise. I've bought it 2 years ago for ps3, collector's edition, 125€ if I remember correctly. It was super overpriced, but I've got a lot of physical goodies, steelbox and some DLC.
Here you're paying a half of this price for a damn digital copy which is assigned to your account permamently (no reselling). Not to mention 2 year waiting, unknown performance (gta 4 anyone?), possible online drm, social club bullshit. Not a good deal to me.

Ok men, I need help deciding if I should prehurrdurr or not.

I'm in Brazil now, so I would pay 35 usd for it. But I think I won't be here by the time it comes out, so, will I be able to activate elsewhere? (ok, maybe nobody knows that for sure)

What if I want to buy this on brazilian steam (or even nuuvem) after the release, when I'm in a different country, is it possible? Can you men buy from brazilian steam or nuuvem?

How about waiting until you know what you get? Will the prices rise by the time the game actually releases?

Well, I dont know, I mean, the point is I can pay 35usd now, and if I'm forced to pay 59eur because I will be in europe for the release.... see why I'm asking?

I can buy most of the time from Nuuvem without a problem. Rarely it's totally locked, sometimes it takes a VPN to activate.

Steam however or Sony or whatever digital platform that has restrictions can be a pain in the behind when you move to other countries (even more so when it's from a cheaper region I'd imagine).

But it all comes down to what kind of restrictions the game will have...

Seriously after having to wait for friggin years to play this game I can damn well wait another week or so for it to get a proper crack. Rolling Eyes

I am sure as hell not paying more than 20€ for an 18 month old game with a texture mod and a few minor addons. Rolling Eyes

By the time you're through the SP, you could already find cheaper keys. Smile
