Really enjoying this so far. I like the elevation and hiding in bushes tactics. I think they really add to the gameplay and makes it something a little different.

wel, they are right.
both ali / 3dm cracks make game works like shit and you are unable to save (save get deleted after quiting) but does not matter because it crashes anyway at load, in case you make a backup copy, or try to load without quiting.
... anyway, game have some issues.
like when i have 200 units, and stare at a tree, speed is crawling.

... and finished.
in case someone else have issue with last mission, just get left bot pool, the midle bot one, and concentrate units in center.
asap make a purger in middle bot. move purger to destroy beta ultimate, and make another purger to defend the alpha ultimate. assign to each purger 1 artilery with heal tech, but it should not matter. proceed to raze both bases.
uninstalled and deleted. nice strategy, but i dont have any wish to play more of it.

Little nice game. I liked that they took ideas from other RTS and consistently packed.

my main turn off point is the fact that ai is beyond dumb. you basically need to babysit them 99% of time in case if you dont want to lose 50%+ of army in a sneez.

Played three missions so far but I don't feel it. Something is missing but I can't pin point what.

Yeah, base building sucks. I'm still with the first faction but I already know that it will suck even more for the humans to as you need to build everything on those fucking grids

ok 4 missions in and love it so far Yeah its not exactly on the level of CaC games (i would say slightly below which is understandable with probably way lower budget) , but great nevertheless - pace is fine for me who is fed up with StarCraft.
All in all nice evolution of what they tried to do with Universe at War, but this time not dumbed down thx to consoles and GfWL
BTW: Dat Klepacki soundtrack .....

Pretty cool game. First 3 missions against humans were piss easy, but against goo I'm getting overwhelmed right from the start. Doesn't help that HoR destroys my own walls in the 5th mission. -_-

Well that 5th mission was "fun", playing hide and seek with those goos. Mmmm... mmm... mm... best game design I've seen out there. Especially with the speed of the HoR, best spend two hours of my life (*sarcasm).

Grey.Goo-RELOADED
Not even a PROPER ^^ *grabs some *
Spoiler: | Quote: |
nERv
Grey Goo (c) Grey Box
01/2015 :..... RELEASE.DATE .. PROTECTION .......: Steam+Custom
1 :.......... DISC(S) .. GAME.TYPE ........: Strategy
Note:
We've decided to make our very own crack for this great game. It's a nice
release, and we'd like to share it with you. We recommend that you play the
game offline or with all game exes firewalled. Other than that we have no
stories to tell and nothing else to note or explain, really. Enjoy!
FIGHT THE CHAOS. OR HARNESS ITS POWER.
Centuries after Humanity first left Earth, all forms of life in the
Milky Way have evolved toward an inward tranquility. But there has been
a mutation. A mysterious organism barrels toward the surface of a lone,
resource-rich planet known as Ecosystem 9, on a mission to consume
all it encounters.
Grey Goo is a real-time strategy (RTS) game that combines classic strategy
mechanics and a balanced combat system with an emphasis on large-scale
decision-making. It puts you at the center of a tactical struggle for
survival and ultimately, control of Ecosystem 9.
Command one of three unique factions: the Humans, masters of defensive
architecture; the Beta, a proud, versatile alien race; or the Goo, an
enigmatic, highly mobile life form. Fight from behind massive walls,
attack from strategic outposts, or swallow your enemies whole. Just
remember, the choices you make on the battlefield will mean the difference
between glorious victory and agonizing defeat.
Features:
* Find the faction that fits your play style and master it by taking on the
AI or the Grey Goo community.
* Experience the conflict on Ecosystem 9 up close and personal in the
single-player campaign.
* Join the fray on Steam and find opponents through skill-based matchmaking.
* Change the rules of the battlefield with unit-altering tech upgrades.
* Deliver devastating blows by constructing game-ending Epic units.
* Take the battle offline via Local Area Network play.
* Create your own battlefields with the Grey Goo map editor and share them
with the community via Steam Workshop.
1. Unrar.
2. Burn or mount the image.
3. Install the game.
4. Copy over our crack from the /Crack directory on the image to your game
install directory.
5. Play the game.
6. Support the software developers. If you like this game, BUY IT!
Extra note anyway: skirmish etc. may be available. You probably just need to
be offline. Hint: disable your wifi card or enter fake DNS server, or ...

They should have made it "internal" to prevent nuking.

How's performance for ppl with decent rigs? I cranked everything up to max and my fps nosedives hard with a lot of units on screen, though my PC is pretty last gen so I guess that's expected.

i7-4770 + GTX970 + 8GB RAM + SSHD
Overall the fps are decent but in 5th mission when CPU spawn endless waves of enemies it tend to drop, sometimes around 20 fps. And the cinematics stutter from time to time.

So it seems there's an issue that progressively deteriorates performance the longer a game goes on, regardless of unit count. They are working on a fix atm.
