always lots of games to play. whoever says they don't have any to play can blame no one but themselves.

We do not know yet, if there is a delay. We will test the whole weekend and if there is no deadlock / blocker in the game - and if we receive the rest of the VOs as promised, we are ready for release. - and I did not open this Thread - I just answered it.
Technically everything is o.k. (beside a small performance problem of GF9xx series - frame rate is lower than expected - but this seems to be a problem nVidia needs to fix in the drivers) - this means we have no open technical/engine bugs, by now.

Maybe they just didn't get those VO's in time, like they said last week.
But 4 days isn't bad since Dying light is coming out tomorrow. Smile

It will be released today and it will receive further patches (But how critical will those be?) plus it seems Workshop support is something they have planned too. Smile

at least they're honest that an RPG will be unfinished on release, which is pretty much every RPG game. Bethesda doesn't even say it, and then you get 10 patches in the next year.

Unlocked on steam.

Disk space required - 15 GB
Download size - 2.2 GB Surprised

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Yeah somethings wrong, looks like they might have forgotten one or two file depots.
https://steamdb.info/app/281130/depots/

EDIT: Yeah it's missing the WD data files, all that's there currently is for sound and the binaries.

Well it's a quick fix thankfully, just a few adjustments...as soon as they notice something's gone wrong that is. Very Happy
(But I'm sure there's some activity on the Steam forums about it already so it shouldn't be very long.)

You need to enable beta

Yeah but I guess you should back up the existing 2.2 GB of data otherwise with the beta binaries I assume you'll only get that 20% demo version of the game.

Easiest would probably be to download the beta branch, move those files elsewhere and then opt out again so the game can update as normal and then when it's all done move back the beta files to complete the asset data.
(Using the release version binaries and sound data since it's a newer build.)

The dev build is old v0.9.0.0 while the .exe in those 2.2 GB is 1.0.0.0
Also dev build has no protection while public has steam stub (not that is not crackable under 2 min though)

Seems they forgot some dev tools into this build they removed. They might be useful for modding i guess?
