There were bits in the trailer that reminded me of 300.

I wonder if the use of lookalike actors is accidental or intentional? Evans and Cooper have almost identical faces.

To me the character 'Dracula' has become like batman's 'Joker', no one who gets put in that role can ever do what Oldman did to it, or what Heath and Hamill did with it. It would be an immediate comparison for me, and this guy would definitely fall short.
At least he is better than Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Gerard Butler and the others I have no idea whether this guy can actually act but I somewhat approve of how he looks in this movie. Nothing breathtaking for sure but he looks OK and I definitely could see him as Dracula appearance wise. The question remains whether he has actual skills to pull it off or not. ..and whether the story is shit or something actually good.

PS I've just finished watching it. The quality of this HDRip was OKeish.
Anyways, I liked the film although I think it was rushed (I heard they cut out lots of material),it should have been darker,preferably NC-17 rated , the story should have been more complex and Dominic was a miscast.
I'm kinda hard to please when it comes to vampire movies and there have been so many shit films exploiting bloodsuckers theme that I generally have this oh-well-it-probably-gonna-be-a-pile-of-crap attitude.However, I rather enjoyed this one. It's pretty good for what it is: a flawed Hollywood take on the man and the legend, a cheesy blockbuster but still enjoyable.
It's not on the same level as Coppola's Dracula or Interview With The Vampire,of course, but it is way better than 90% vampire crap films that were released since then.

I've never understood all the backlash this film got. To me it was more entertaining than any x-men 1-2-3....\avengers or any other marvel film about superderps.
As for what I didn't like,well, I already mentioned it + it is pretty much addressed in the imdb post above.
