It has no lan and singleplayer is just vs bots I think. Played the beta, got bored fast. Nothing special. Once the novelty wears off it drops like a rock. I play LoL, CS, TF2 and l4D for many hours without getting bored but Evolve....Not my game.
It's a shame that this is a 2K game, with their twisted policies, it's one of the greediest, most anti-consumer publishers available at the moment and they actually kinda like being perceived like that. I'll probably play the game when the goty version will be in the $5 bin xD

Such boring, much uninstalled. Singleplayer tough , but i can't imagine multiplayer being anymore exciting , maybe more frustrating lel
Nah, multiplayer is always better regardless of team mates. The hunter AI in singleplayer is awful
But in the end the game will suffer from the same problems that L4D games, of course. If you're not playing with friends, communicating etc. the experience won't be as good

The game matched me with retards today. When we started, I was the only one following the tracks. The others were shooting everything else that moved. When I found the monster, I was way ahead of them and put a dome. Until they came I was alone under a dome trapped with a monster. We chilled a lil bit then things went rough. I almost died, then my retards came and started shooting. Then the dome dissapeared with me on the floor and the medic sniping that monster ass waay ahead of me. I died, then watched them do the same thing again. Monster lvl 3. We somehow managed to lower the monster's health then it ran away. The timer of the round ran out, and we won. lol. Worst 22 minutes of my life.
AI monster works pretty well in Hunt for the most part, much better than AI hunters. Really hard to catch and during battles bounces from a hunter to the next with nearly scalpel precision, but yeah I've seen him gettting stuck a couple of times already mostly in Defend mode.
@prudislav yep if you don't have a stable group to play with it's not worth a buy, it will indeed get boring really quickly just like it happens with L4D.
I had a bit of fun playing Evac solo as a monster. The hunters' AI do the job well enough, I didn't expect much.
So unless you enjoy playing multiplayer focus games solo, its not worth it. But if you say, play Battlefront with yourself and find it fun, then try it.
So for someone with no online friends, it's not worth bothering with?
Unless you're a dedicated monster. You won't need any group there but then again at some point you're gonna wish for a decent opposition, which a bunch of randoms isn't generally going to give you.
