Did you start on 1.3? I went to the place, hit the Q, nothing. Nothing pings, no gun under the table at all.
As I said I was already there once, but no way I'd miss the fact that I'd picked up a gun.


The gun isn't under the table. It's under/behind the chair the dead guy is sitting in. It's easy to miss and might not have shown when pressing Q. Not sure on that. But it could definitely be easy to miss.

I hit Q a bunch of times. Nothing showed up and I looked all around the table/chair it does not seem to be there. I went to do another story mission (first time you chase the drop) so next day I'll go back and look again.

I agree! The audio in general in this game is amazing really. Everything from the soundtrack to the sound effects are really well done, and the music has a sort of retro Dawn of The Dead vibe to it!

Too bad it's still so far away, as i tend to rarely touch a game again after such a long time when i already finished it Crying or Very sad

Anyone else having keyboard issues with this game?

Often when I press A or D, my character keeps moving in either direction until I press again, and in the apartment complex I can only move forward using W, the other keys don't work.

No, it's not my keyboard, everything else(Battlefield 3-4, CS, Quake, whatever other game I have installed) does not display the same behaviour.

Edit: WTF, now no key but the W key works in-game.

In menu they work fine. Confused

Wasn't really impressed with the ones for the original so... njeh.
Confirmed with neona that apparently cpu control is not needed anymore to get this working properly so I might install it soon although... dat FO:NV boner seems to be back Sad

Do you have a gamepad plugged in perhaps? Don't know about this game, but it used to cause problems with keyboard controls in certain games in the past.

don't you guys think that slide + break legs is kind of a game breaker while fighting Rais men ?

You kill them instantly instead of a long and hard fight.

I can kill 5 men no problem in a matter of seconds.

Lots of things are game breaking for me, it seems to be becoming easier the further it goes Sad


I also think the locations in this game are terrible, especially compared to Dead Island.


The Dead Island resort to me was very memorable and a great location.

On Dying light the sums were a good set up, the town feels more boring and forgettable than the one in Dead Island though Embarassed

I assumed they would just dodge the attack so I never tried that. After seeing them deflect my throwing stars, I figured things like the jump kick or slide wouldn't work on them unless I caught them by surprise.

I use the shield with explosion mod to knock them into spike traps or off rooftops if possible. Otherwise I just slice them up with weapons.

The non-infected battles started off kind of frustrating but once I got the hang of it, they're some of my favorite enemies to fight.

I unlocked the ability to head-stomp someone, to kill them with one blow.

So, I don't need to damage my weapons anymore. 3 kicks to any part of their body, and they fall. Once on the ground, I stomp their head. Next zombie.

Hard mode will have forced 150% view distance slider setting, along with every CPU core pegged @ 100 % usage, this will make the game run at 1fps (impossible to play, so hard mode all the way).

The only thing I use throwing stars for are for killing the dudes with the big hammers. Throw a bottle of flammable liquid on them and hit them with a burning star and they die within a second or three.
