Best of luck Stormwolf, I've been there/done that some years ago because of an inflammation (thankfully nothing serious, but it had to be checked). Needless to say, it sucks. There isn't a better way to put it 
But look on the bright side, once you experience it, your life here will get easier, if you know what I mean xD

I don't know why people think fucking in the ass is anything like colonoscopy? I haven't had colonoscopy, but I've had anal sex, and after you relax (and in the colonoscopy they give you all sorts of medication, and can even put you under) it's smooth sailing. Plus colonoscopy hurts because it goes all the way along your colon, a dick (average) goes less then 15cm in, and even if you would go with someone who has 20+cm dick (and I sure as hell wouldn't let that near my ass xD), it won't go all the way inside your colon, just the last part of it.

colonoscopy itself isnt too bad at all , cause you get sedated. the day before and the morning itself you ll be drinking 5 liters of horrible fluid and going to the toilet every 15 mins....

Wasn't so bad the one time i shat today. Guessing it might just be as the doc said that the turd removed the crust on the polyp when it passed through, and it's on the way to get better.
